Central location and perfectly lovely staff. This is a very well maintained hostel kind of vibe, with a common room and a beautiful kitchen. It is clear that everyone is very proud of this penthouse space that has been turned into an affordable stay in the high season in Ponta Delgada.

Unfortunately, the elevator broke and being on the top floor the 20th floor that caused some anxiety for checkout, but it was swiftly fixed and I suffered no trouble.

It is sweet this place provides coffee and cake. Also great with some shared spaces, it feels overall like a hostel with private rooms. I enjoyed the cleanliness and location of this place.

Not for light sleepers. The walls are paper-thin. You can hear your neighbors do everything, and not only that, also all the movement on the floor, including people coming and going from the shared bathroom/kitchen. There was also a faint smell of smoke in the room, perhaps from the shared smoking area on the floor.

-nice kitchen, beautiful view: the apartment was on the 20th floor, so we could see the whole city from every window. The kitchen is modern and there is food available for breakfast.

- The check-in requires a lot of steps and codes for the access, probably because the building is inside a shopping center. - instructions are hung on the walls of the apartment, so you have to go looking around in order to understand how to do everything, but you have to notice, otherwise you don't know, given that there is no staff at the check in explaining that. - our room was outdated(as the building) and not helpful for the organization of clothes and baggage: no wardrobe, only a small desk and a space in a corner that could be used, but it was occupied with a stool and a basket with the towels that could not be moved elsewhere, due to a lack of suitable space. The door did not close properly, so we had to lock it everytime we exited the room. -the apartment is more similar to a hostel than a holiday apartment: about 7 rooms, some with private bathroom, some with shared bathroom, all close to each other with a very small corridor. So, all the noises could be heard from everyone staying there. When were sleeping, we heard every noise made by the people passing by(even if they didn't shout or stomp). It's a good option for someone traveling in group maybe, but in my opinion there are better options at the same price, with free parking nearby.
