Outstanding experience if Tuscany

You feel really welcomed here. The host treats you like his personal guest, not a customer. His wife makes delicious cakes for breakfast. And the house itself is located at the very heart of the historic centre. It cannot be reached by car but this small inconvenience is mire than comoensated. You can exoerience what it’s like to live in an old Italian house, the bonus being a romantic litttle garden with fantastic views of the amazing Tuscanian countryside.

Marcello is Simply the best host you can meet. Gentle, Kind, gives great suggestions and shares a lot of amazing anedoctes. We really loved his Amazing Company and the beautiful residence he built. Looking forward to coming back to visit him again next time we'll l be on our way to val d'Orcia.

Quiet and cozy

We like Marcello, he was very accomodating even with the little english he knew! He always made sure we had everything we needed. The location itself is on a beautiful town and is worth exploring when you have the time.

There is a bit of a walk from the car park to the location and since it's a beautiful old-style accommodation, there was no elevator so it's a bit of a challenge to bring up the luggage, Marcello was happy to help though!

I loved it!

Throughout my whole bikepacking trip, La Antiche Mura, was the place where I immediately felt at home. Everything is incredibly lovingly done. Marcello welcomes you with open arms and is always available for questions. I hope one day I will be able to return to Semproniano and visit this magical place again.

relax, thermal water and wonderful sightseeings

Kindness of Marcello, owner of the premise, cleanliness of the room, amazing view on the village and on the mountains, wonderful breakfast with genuine handmade cakes and confiture, absolute silence of the small village of Semproniano. Marcello, everyday prapared for us a detailed an accurate list of places to see and thing to do around the location. Wonderful the "cascate del molino" in Saturnia terms.

Exceptional stay.

The property is charming, clean, and recently renovated. The location is close to multiple small towns and sightseeing. The stay offered breakfast, spacious room, towels, additional blankets and pillows, parking, and great hospitality. Is a great B&B and highly recommended.

The hotel was lovely and the host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean. Bathrooms are small.

Unfortunately the location is a very small town which although beautiful has only two restaurants. One restaurant was closed and the other was fully booked. So be warned to book the restaurant here in advance if you want to eat. You can drive to a nearby town but after you've driven through this town to get here you don't really want to drive back on discovering there is nowhere to eat.

A truly amazing and perfect place with a warm host and tasty homemade breakfast

Le Antiche Mura really is a hidden gem, I don’t know how to describe it better. The location in the middle of an old village on a hilltop is beautiful. it is just a couple of minutes drive from Saturnia. The property is amazing with its layout, cosy rooms and garden. To top it all off the property has the best host in italy. Marcelo really is the heart and soul of the place. With that I truly recomand this stay.

Lovely and super comfortable stay in the beautiful hills of Tuscany.

Such a wonderful stay, lost in the beautiful hills of Tuscany! The apartment is in a lovely quaint town and the owner is a super friendly and helpful man (he doesn't speak English but all good with Google translate). He even let me borrow his iron and ironing board so that I could iron my dress for a friend's wedding! The breakfast outside on the little terrace is very relaxing. Almost best of all, the bed was so comfortable!

It was a bit difficult to find the apartment but I called the owner and he came to get me and all was well! The parking is a few minutes walk away, which isn't any trouble, just something to keep in mind. The town church is very close so it might hinder your night if you wanted to sleep in. I think the first ring was at 8 AM.

Excellent host

We arrived at the accommodation when it was already dark, so it was a bit difficult to find. However, the host Marcello came to look for us so he could show us the way to the accommodation. The accommodation is lovely and Marcello thought of everything. The neighborhood is so quiet, so we had a good sleep. Waking up with a great view and a delicious breakfast set up by Marcello was a lovely start of the day. We had a great talk/chat with Marcello, he has been very helpful and kind. Thank you for the lovely stay, we would recommend it to everyone.

Quite cute place with lovely garden

Lovely quiet place that exceeded our expectations. Clean room, beautiful view over the valley and cozy garden. Great service with personal touch which was very much appreciated.

The property is beautiful and clean, Our room was spacious and comfortable. It has a lovely garden and a nice library. Marchello the owner was really nice and welcoming, he showed us the way to the property and help us with our bags. The property is 10 minutes away from Saturnia Therme.

Posto molto bello

Mi è piaciuto un pò tutto. Dalla cortesia e disponibilità del proprietario alla pulizia, alla cura in ogni dettaglio, al fatto che è davvero una residenza signorile e offre uno spazio interno dove poter stare all'aperto la sera.

L'unica cosa è che essendo un piccolo borgo non puoi lasciare la macchina vicinissimo e c'è un pezzo di strada da fare a piedi, ma nulla di eccessivo.

Un soggiorno rilassante tra natura e tradizione toscana

Bellissimo soggiorno in alloggio collocato a Semproniano a pochi chilometri dalle terme di Saturnia. L’alloggio è situato nel centro storico del paesino, è disponibile un parcheggio per la macchina a pochi metri dalla struttura. L’appartamento è grande, è costituito da diverse aree da condividere con gli altri ospiti e una stanza con bagno privato per ciascuno. Il proprietario è molto cordiale e accogliente, disponibile per ogni necessità ed informazione. Piccola chicca è la colazione che viene preparata al mattino con torte fatte in casa e davanti alla natura toscana !

Una scoperta inaspettata

Questa struttura è stata una piacevole scoperta. L'avevamo scelta solo per la vicinanza alle terme di Saturnia, ma abbiamo trovato un gioiello da tenere come punto di riferimento per viaggi futuri. La casa è un'abitazione antica ristrutturata con stile impeccabile su più livelli. Le camere sono rifinite con un gusto raffinato, come del resto tutti gli ambienti della casa. L'accoglienza da parte del proprietario è un plus che conferisce alla struttura un'atmosfera calda impagabile. La colazione più che ottima.
