The Sands Holiday Apartments

We loved our stay at The Sands. The apartment was perfect for me and my two kids. We loved the position, the gardens, the quiet and relaxed vibe. Kim and Geoff were super kind and caring. We hope to come again!

The location was very convenient to everything we wanted. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped. The gardens were attractive and well maintained.

Nothing really, although it would have been nice to have a hairdryer.

The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. It was very clean. The pool was lovely and the gardens were superbly kept.

As much as the management were nice people and do a very good job on the property, we found them to be extremely highly strung and a little intrusive unfortunately. This impression and experience was also shared by the other guests we spoke with. People are there on holiday, not to socialise with the owners. It was also very unprofessional that at 9.20am the owner appeared at the door and told my elderly mother that we really should be out by now and to hurry up (checkout was 10am) as they had a lot of rooms to clean for a new lot of guests arriving. As it turns out we were about to leave anyway. My 87yo mother did not appreciate being harassed like this and got quite upset. If we were told this prior, we would have left earlier.

Location is perfect. Quiet location and of a court.Short walk to beach and cafe. 15-20 minute walk to Main Street. Property had everything you could need including a beautiful, clean pool.
