Glaros Home

Glaros Home in the Garden is a charming and comfortable place to stay. Upon our arrival, Ilias gave us a warm welcome, showed us the convenient parking spot at the back of the garden, and explained everything we needed to know about the house. To top it off, fresh fruit and homemade dishes were waiting for us on the kitchen table. The house is surrounded by beautiful trees and features large balconies all around, so you can choose your favorite spot to eat and enjoy the view—including a stunning view of the sea. The kitchen and bathroom are both well-equipped. Ilias and Mania are always available and eager to ensure their guests have a pleasant stay. Beautiful beaches are just a three-minute walk away, and Chania is only a 10-minute drive. The neighborhood is quiet, and the main road along the shore is lined with small shops and supermarkets. The location of Glaros Home in the Garden is also perfect for exploring the west of Crete, including Elafonissi, Balos, Kournas Lake, and the monasteries of Agia Triada, Governeto, and Katholiko. To be honest, with our three kids, we couldn’t have picked a better place! :-)

The TV screen is a bit small and old, but to be honest there are better things to do all around and even inside somme books to read in the confortable armchairs.

Forse 1 solo bagno, ma poco importa

Everything was perfect. Very nice hosts who were waiting with refreshments and were always willing to help. :) I can recommend it to everyone, whether it's a family or a group of friends.

We could not have a better stay during our vacation. We have met the most friendly and helpful hosts. We have been greeted with delicious home made meals, sweets, bottle of raki and a bowl of fruit salat- what a start of the holiday. The apartment is really spacious and has four balconies . Due to ist location we were having breakfast , lunch and dinner on a different one and there was a special place for the afternoon drinks as well. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need. The apartment is furnished with taste and it shows that the hosts like the small details. The hosts were really open hearted people and they were helping us and always asking if we need something. One evening we got a plate with different Greek home made dishes- you do not get those in the restaurants. I still need to get one recipe :) The beach - it is only 5 min walk , simply amazing.
