Wonderful place to stay in Chania, comfortable and close to the beach.

Great views, very clean and comfortable, lovely host, excellent communication, lovely comfortable bed with mosquito net, good water pressure. Loved the extra long sheer curtains which doubled as a flyscreen so I could keep balcony doors open at night. Good kitchenette facilities but would be handy to add a peeler, bigger tea towel and a sink plug.

Mosquitoes still managed to get in and bite me while I watched TV, maybe from the bathroom window. The host may have provided some insect spray if I had asked.

Lovely, enjoyable, relaxing stay.x

Everything, location was great, just across the road from a lovely beach with sunbeds and there were shops and restaurants, also on the no 21 bus route to Chania so everywhere was in easy reach. The property was spotless and was really lovely, looking out to see, couldn’t fault it. The owners were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you but were never ever intrusive, they were a WhatsApp away. I would stay here next time I’m in Crete without hesitation x

Perfect starting point for exploring the north of Crete.

Good location near Chania (still not crowded at all) with some restaurants nearby. Perfect for a relaxed vacation with everything in short driving distance (and private parking right next to the apartment). Apartment had daily room service, exceeding what you would get in an average hotel! They‘d even clean our dirty dishes! Apartment had everything you would need including a stunning sea view from the bed!

Just really small details: The kitchen is really basic (just one stove, no toaster), making our breakfast a little challenging. Additional electric outlets would be helpful, especially near the bed. Charging all the devices one has nowadays was a bit of a logistical challenge.

Relaxing stay with a great view

The view is amazing! Fanis is such a nice and helpful guy and his family as well. Lots of cats around and plenty of parking space. Kitchen is equipped with some essentials. Beds are comfortable.

If the neighbors are noisy you can hear them a bit but we didn’t had any problems with this (only downside)

Fantastic time staying at Villa Georgia

Excellent place to stay, can't recommend it enough. Super clean and tidy, fantastic hosts and relaxing atmosphere at the villa overall. We enjoyed the calmness of the street, wonderful views and quietness of the neighbourhood. We loved it and hope we'll be back!

Room cleaning everyday was nice, but not necessary in our case. Changing towels every day takes a lot of water for washing and therefore doesn't seem very eco-friendly. But for families with kids this could be a plus.

Wonderful mid-June stay!

The Villa has all the advantages you could think of, and this comes from a woman with large expectations to good accommodation. I booked Villa Georgia for the wonderful sea views at such a reasonable price - and if I could, I would love to wake up every day to sit on this balcony! The flat was so much more spacious than I anticipated based on the photos, both the bedroom and the living room. The bathroom had nice design and a hairdryer. And the small kitchen had all utilities you would need to make a small meal in the room if desired. Phone data connection is not very good, but the free wi-fi is excellent. The room was in pristine condition when we arrived and the host, Fanis, and his mother were very welcoming! The area is quiet and I highly recommend the Corinna restaurant, which is a 3min walk away. We did not hire a car but had to come from Chania airport. The airport transfer arranged by the host was excellent for a good price, and on all other days, the bus stop is a 5min walk from the Villa, so we could explore Crete - including Chania and Samaria. Overall, highly recommend!

If you want to make a larger food shop, and don't have a car, big supermarkets are a 25min walk away, so brace yourself! You can buy just water and snacks nearby.

Perfect - would stay again if visiting Crete!

Perfect quiet location, 15 mins drive to Chania town, extra parking space, lovely balcony with sea view, nice clean room with good facilities (mini kitchen), and Fanis was the perfect Host!

Bathroom is slightly on the small side with no windows and a little dated, but does the job so no major complaints!

Everything was smooth and stress free. The premises are sparkling clean, the location is close to beaches and restaurants and the price was reasonable. We had no complaints and would definitely stay here again or recommend it to friends.

Personal attention from property owner, including local recommendations and additional services (he lent us a beach umbrella). The beds were also extremely comfortable. It was also a nice, quiet location.

Everything! The standard of the apartment was higher than expected, Spotlessly clean, Quiet, Amazing sea view from balcony, Extremely comfortable mattress, Fanis is an excellent host who goes above & beyond to ensure that his rooms and level of service are of the highest standard. We had such a fabulous stay here we would definitely visit again. We saw the comments about breakfast so had to give it a try and was not disappointed-delicious!

I cannot think of anything I didn't like. If I had to choose one thing that could be difficult for some guests it may be the walk up to the apartment but if it wasn't on a hill you wouldn't get the Sea Views

Overall experience of staying in Villa Georgia was very pleasant.

The owner of the place, Fannis, is very friendly and helpful guy. Because we visited the place in December, he offered us to stay in apartment instead of in the room we paid for without any extra costs. He called us before our stay, explained the options of transfer to the apartment (we came to Chania late in the evening) and organized taxi for us. When we came, he welcomed us with shots of raki and fresh mandrines. He offered also bikes to go to shop. We were asked few times if we need something and always get help and things we needed. The apartment itself is just like on the pictures: beautiful design, comfortable bed with warm blanket, great view of the sea, everything clean and neat. The kitchen has all necessary equipment to prepare basic meals. The place is located quite close to the road from which it's easy to travel to other places but still in peaceful and silent area.

Often we had cold water in the taps and we had to wait couple of minutes to take warm shower. It also would be nice to have a floor wiper in the bathroom.

Amazing experience. It's a magical place.

The villa is located in a quiet place. It's so spacious! You get a modern clean and nice looking bathroom, a small kitchen area. A very nice living room with sofa and a bedroom with beautiful canopy bed. The balcony is also nice, spacious, private and with a gorgeous view of the sea. The host was a charming and friedly man. It's a good place to stay if you want to explore Chania city.

If you have a bigger car, there might be an issue with parking as the parking area is very small. We had a small car so it was no trouble.

- The host was very detailed in his explanations. Told us where to go depending on weather forecasts. Very helpful. - Location is great, a bit outside of Chania. You can drive there in 10 minutes max with a car (which I definitely recommend renting for visiting) - Great view on the sea, from the bed and the terrasse. I spent half my holidays on this terrasse, perfect for chilling. - Very good restaurants nearby - Very confy bed - Little kitchenette, just enough to prepare breakfast and salads (probably not suitable if you want to do a big meal, but I would advise visiting restaurants anyways).

- Nothing. Maybe the first time you get there the place will be a bit difficult to find ? Make sure to drive far enough up the path to find the hotel.
