Taupo Penthouse

Outlook. The scenery was stunning. The kitchen was well appointed and couches were comfortable. The compendium was informative and and thorough. Parking was great.

The Master bed has significant 'dips' that made sleeping comfortably difficult. The roll to the centre was not ideal. The second bathroom had ants making their trail in the shower cubicle and it sounded like water was trickling down the inside of the elevator. The sensor lights on the stairwell couldn't be activated until you were one flight down which is a safety concern. It took a long while to heat the space. The underfloor heating only became effective on the second night and the electric heaters weren't suffice to heat such a big area.

the view was outstanding and the size and quality of the house was fantastic, we had 2 cars and there was plenty of parking to accommodate both.

Wonderful sea view from the living area.

Full of insects in the night. Not enough ventilation. Hot and stuffy. Could not open any windows as lots of bugs are flying around in the night. In the morning, hundreds of died flies and insects body is found at the balcony floor and stuck to glass panels as well as the front entrance.
