We stayed 3 nights and it was location was perfect for us. Antonio was very attentive to our needs and was a great help when planning our days. We were able to drive into the busy tourist centres in the morning and escape to our oasis in the afternoon for a lovely personable evening meal at Alcanta Restaurant..

Nothing not to like ..

Beautiful property and cozy room with spacious balcony. The common area also has a nice balcony with ocean views, perfect setting for a morning coffee. The owner is very kind and helpful.

The complimentary breakfast bar could include some fresh pastries and gluten free items as no bakery or grocery store is close by.

Tastefully decorated throughout, this charming property has been in the owners family for generations and is attended to with love, devotion and pride. The host, Antonio couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, gorgeous Sicilian b'fast in the garden, with helpful tips from the best beaches, restaurants, what to see, to even a local garage when we had a car problem. Located in a typical small Sicilian village away from the crowds & usual tourist scene where one can get a picture of typical Sicilian village life. You need a (small) car to maximise your stay, no problem with road parking, a 50m walk away. Upon entering the property from the road felt like Alice in Wonderland, opening the gate to a hidden oasis of peace & tranquility. The garden is tiered & thoughtfully designed with a Greek gods theme (Medusa, Cyclops clay busts) unique quiet shaded spaces/seats around every corner complete with it's own beautiful, cozy infinity pool. We made picnic in the garden and spent days just chilling/reading around the pool edge & eating pizza on the roof balcony, our original tourist itenary long forgotton! In the early evenings we watched quietly, transfixed as the usually nervous Doves came to drink from the pool edges, submerging their heads completely and even the small House Martins birds & Pipestrelle bats taking water on the wing in the blink of an eye, leaving nothing but tiny water ripples as they fly away. As we sipped Benanti Etna rosso wine relaxing in the garden, wall lizards skuttle along the paths. We ate fish & drank in the small local village restaurants, Arachini, Granita & Brioche from a village ice-cream parlour, bought from a small supermarket for our picnics.

What was there not to like! We came with an open mind & heart and left with beautiful memories... - we loved everything about it

Home away from home - Antonio opened up his whole home to us! Nestled in a beautiful yard with olive trees and orange grove the swimming pool is a treat and the town comes alive at night
