The apartment complex itself is well-maintained and peaceful - just what we were looking for. The pool was warm, clean, and never crowded, with plenty of loungers, umbrellas, and outdoor seating. Nice barbecue. The location is quiet and within walking distance to the beach, and the flat was very clean on arrival. We also appreciated the help with our bags when we arrived.

Unfortunately, the experience as guests was far from ideal. We were given a different apartment than the one pictured in our booking. That in itself wouldn’t have been a major issue - had it matched the listed features. But the flat: -lacked an oven -did not have the Nintendo Wii shown in the listing -was clearly not the advertised 74 m² When we contacted the host, they acknowledged the listing mistake (no apartment had a Wii), and said that another apartment with an oven would be available the following afternoon. However, there was no apology, no sense of responsibility, no offer of compensation - just the option to view a different flat the next day. Come next day, we were shown another apartment, which did have an oven - - but lacked air conditioning in the bedroom and had south-facing windows. When I pointed out that neither apartment matched the advertised 74 m², the hosts insisted I was mistaken and that balconies are included in the floor area in Bulgaria. After checking, I found this was indeed the local practice - but the sticky note above our door clearly stated 64.24 m², confirming our suspicion that the listing was inaccurate (there's no way our balcony was 10 m²). Again, no apology was offered. Instead, we were told we could either take the second apartment or leave. A refund or partial compensation wasn’t mentioned. We ended up staying in the original flat, as we preferred air conditioning over an oven. Other smaller inconveniences added to our frustration: only one bin liner and toilet roll were provided (when I asked, they gave us more rolls) -no light in the wardrobe room -shower doors off their rails -rough bed linen due to pilling We asked to pay the balance in euros (since we have had to make a pre-payment upon booking in euros anyway) - but ended up paying about 8-9 EUR more than the listed price due to the host’s chosen exchange rate.
