The Princessa de Penasco is a beachfront resort with many wonderful amenities. The resort was designed to emulate the shape of an arc. The arc is made up of five yellow towers that have a beautiful Old World Mexican courtyard in the center. The courtyard has several red brick walkways with flower lined grassy areas shaded by palm trees.
The resort has premium amenities like 3 swimming pools, a Jacuzzi spa, and palm frond umbrellas above lounge chairs in the sand. The resort also includes a sand volleyball court where you can challenge your neighbors to a game and an ocean view fitness center that has everything you need to stay in shape. The resort also includes an on-site cantina called Colin's Cantina. Colin's has a great home town Bistro vibe. This is a very safe resort with 24-hour on-site security.
This is a second-floor Oceanfront, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom condo in A Tower. This oceanfront condo accommodates 6 guests. The living room is furnished with a large brown leather sofa with gold grommet trim and a matching armchair. The sofa doubles as a pull out bed. There is a birch colored coffee table, matching end tables, and a media center. There is a vibrant colored piece of art mounted on the wall above the sofa, and a green silk plant on the coffee table.
The media cabinet has a large TV, DVD, and VCR. You can surf the internet with ease because the condo comes with high-speed wireless internet. You can get to the terrace through a set of glass arcadia doors off the living area. In the dining area, there is a round oak wood table with seating for four under a beautiful wrought iron chandelier. The wall behind the table has a large wall-mounted wall-sized mirror and a purified drinking water cooler in the corner.
The kitchen has ceramic tiled countertops with black appliances and fully loaded drawers and cupboards. You will find everything you need to entertain or prepare a meal. The kitchen has a built in counter bar that works great to serve your guests. In the master bedroom there is a queen-size bed with a maple wood frame and scrolled wrought iron headboard. The bedding is a striped southwestern print of beige and navy blue. Each side of the bed has a window and a bed side table with a lamp. There is another window that has a double door closet on each side where you can store your clothing. If you run out of room there is a lower double door cabinet below the window. The attached master bathroom has an arched entry with one sink on the mirrored vanity and a private tub, shower and commode. The 2nd bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, night stands and a dresser. You can hang clothing in the large double door closet that has full length mirrors. The hall bathroom has a walk in shower with travertine walls and a single sink mirrored vanity with a commode. The terrace is furnished with a table and chairs.
The terrace would be the perfect spot to kick back and relax with a cold beer or frozen

We loved our stay and the views looked up to the pictures! Everything was in working order. Lots of plates and dishes and anything you'd need for cooking.
A couple things to help future stays! The bunk room bed needs to be tightened as it's loose and moves, and the ladder is broken off. The door handle is loose but stillsm shuts. Also, be prepared to bring your own stuff. There were no coffee filters, shampoo, conditioner, or soap, and no napkins as well as low stock in paper towels. Not a deal breaker or anything i would knock stars off for but something i like to notate to make people aware. They DO have a store at the office which is super convenient.

The place is family friendly, clean with plenty of room for 6. The location is perfect being that it's at the end of the building & closest to the beach , just one flight of stairs which are located pretty much next to the room to get to ground level.
Kitchen is fully stocked and the linens are clean and white. My only complaint is that in the description, they claim that there is a "sofa doubles as a pull out bed“ in the living room. The pull out does not exist. The couch is not a sleeper couch. That's the only misrepresentation which is kind of a big deal and is the only reason I marked two stars less. They need to correct that in their description.

All went well besides the elevator not working, DVD player not working and master bed was quite snug for 2. Otherwise was a great spot for a family trip. Comfortable.

This property has a great view of the ocean, pools and grounds. It's decorated nicely with a great floor plan. Entry screen is pretty rusted. Many light bulbs burned out. Chandelier bulbs are all mismatched. Only 1 bar of soap total provided and no other toiletries. Hand towels were missing in guest bath. Windows are dirty. Master bath shower curtain dangling by just a few holes and shower rod is awkward and needs to be replaced. Tub drain is very slow. With some TLC, this could be a great rental. I've rented similar units on different floors that are well maintained and charge the same price, leaving me feeling a little bit ripped off for having rented this one.
