Griya Harja Homestay

Nice rural setting, waking up with the sounds of the chickens, cats and goats. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. There is also free bycicles which you can use to explore the area or go to Borobudur.

The matrass was a bit thin, but i had a good sleep anyway.

The room was lovely and quaint, it had a window to greenery and a few roaming chickens, a large wooden desk, a comfortable bed. The bathroom was fine, and it was right next to the room. The host Yudo was really great - he helped me get around a lot on his motorbike, suggested great things to do and see (batik painting / view on volcano / temples etc.), brought me to some DELICIOUS food, and has a fun sense of humour. I thought I was coming for Borobodur temple but it ended up being more than that, and I really enjoyed all of it; it felt like I was exploring with a friend who knows the area (and everyone in the area haha). It's a bit hard to get to places alone from the homestay if you don't have a motorbike, but in the end it wasn't really an issue as Yudo was really helpful

Había una araña en el baño y la limpieza del baño dejaba que desear, y para ir al templo nos dio un taxista que nos cobró un precio MUY ELEVADO.
