Villa la Ficuzza

Lovely big kitchen and nice terrace (not a sea view) Location next to the sea and short walk to town is lovely. Hosts were very nice. Left fruit water, coffee etc. Felt very welcome.

Important points to note. It is not a sea view as advertised, aircon is only in one room, beds are too small for teenagers and it is below an incredible wedding venue that blasts out music until 1:30am, so you can't sit outside at all during someones wedding. - or sleep until that point - it is seriously loud. We rented the house based on the photos of the sea view and the heading house with sea view. It is a large house divided into three - the rental is an apartment more than a house. The views advertised are not what you see. You get to look at the owners enjoying their view and a glimpse of it if you rearrange the furniture. The terrace is divided into two using some grass fencing which is see - through - so of you imagine sitting with your family enjoying your meal and looking out at the sea you will be disappointed. You will be watching the owners do this whilst you are tucked away. On the bright side - this also meant you did get shade from the sun. Only one bedroom is aircon and the second one with metal bunks was too small for our 14 year old in a very small room. It was such a shame but the photos are very misleading and only one room is remotely comfortable. The breakfast is dried bread and jam. Which I liked but didn't feed the kids at all.
