Very lovely setting in the hills with lovely quiet pool. The beach nearby - lido del torre- was fantastic and we were regulars at the restaurant. Went for coffee in nearby Centraro and gelato in Belvedere. Both beautiful hilltop old towns to see the real Italy, kids loved the pool and everything worked and comfortable in the villa. Perfect quiet, relaxing week away - with lots of Italian food to go with it.

We booked the villa for a family holiday in Calabria, and it did not disappoint. The owner Piero was brilliant, provinding helpful information on things to do nearby. The beach was only a 10 minute drive away. Having a pool onsite was very handy for days when we didn't want to drive to the beach. Perfect week in Calabria grazie Piero!
I would definitely recommend booking the villa if you are looking for a relaxing week away in the south of Italy.

The house was very nice and big. The furnishing was lovely. The beds were very comfortable and with the air conditioning you could sleep very well. The pool was a nice change from the sea.
Piero, the landlord, was very nice and helpful. During the 2 weeks of our stay he made sure that everything was okay and we weren't lacking anything.
All in all we had two great weeks and would definetly recommend the villa.

We stayed in villa Virginia for two weeks in the beginning of October. We are a family of five - three kids age 8 years, 4 years and 10 months - and we wished for a nice quiet and relaxing vacation.
The house is situated in the most beautiful surroundings and it is possible to enjoy the view from the house, the garden and the balconies. Every night we enjoyed the sunsets from the balcony and in the morning we enjoyed the sunrise over the mountains. Some days - in the right light - it is possible to see the vulcanic island 'Stromboli'.
In the evening we sat outside in the lighted terrace playing games. The house was very nice, spacious and had everything we needed.
We spent most of our holiday at the house and in the swimming pool, but we also went to the beach and to the market ind both Belvedere and Cetraro. The area and small villages are very authentic - not touristed and filled with souvenirs.
We had a fantastic holiday and if we go back to Calabria, we will absolutely stay here again!
