Amazing place with great vibes

absolutely enjoyed my stay at this villa. The villa itself and the entire property have an amazing atmosphere and look really coo - stylish and relaxed. Every morning, a delicious breakfast was served directly to my villa at the table just outside, and I could choose exactly the type of breakfast I wanted - it was yummy btw 😊 The staff were super friendly and attentive, and there was no request too big or too small for them to accommodate. The service was fantastic throughout my stay, and having a few great conversations with the owners truly added to the overall experience. I loved it here and would definitely come back the next time I’m in Bali.

Mooz is a quiet oasis garden of Bali tranquility in buzzing Canguu

Mooz is my only choice for Canguu. Well established by very long term bali residents and long-term permanent staff, their focus is authenticity, quality, nature, simplicity and beauty and bringing us the real spirit of Bali. I love learning about Balinese and Indonesian culture from the villa managers. They have a dedicated following of repeat guests and word of mouth referral. All my friends and family stay here when they come. There are only 4 solid wood villas here in a large landscaped Balinese garden with active rice-paddy and full sized pool so it's never crowded. Each villa has a generous porch where you can watch the birds fly between the mango trees and dip in the pool. I love the tiled outdoor bathrooms with small private gardens. There is a large reception area for relaxation, yoga, meditation and eating. Mooz help me via Whatsapp with everything including transport, excursion drivers, scooter hire and tips about the island. There are 1-2-1 yoga and meditation classes depending on availability, and healthy breakfast. The location is perfect, close to several famous gyms but quietly located next to a rice field, you dont hear traffic or construction. Important in Canguu! Benoit, Anna, Natha, Ketut and all Mooz staff thank you so much for making Bali a second home for me.

Quiet, relaxing, good home style vibe. Exactly what I wanted!

I loved every aspect of my stay here. It was personal, a homely rustic vibe, good energy, good and engaging interactions. The food was simple, healthy and well done. The decor was classic Bali style with colour. Pool was gigantic. Felt comfortable and able to relax and just breathe. Perfect for what I needed right there and then.

The Oasis in Canggu

I had previously heard of this place and booked to stay here this time. It's a heavenly spot, slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Scooters are available for hire, and I'm grateful to the kind owners. Benoit’s handmade jams are absolutely superb. Breakfast here makes your stay in Bali feel even more special. I loved the whole atmosphere so much on the first day that I extended my stay. I'll be back. Thank you very much 🙏🏼❣️

“A peaceful, beautifully designed hidden gem that instantly felt like home.

Villa Mooz was absolute perfection. The room, pool, team, cleanliness, and value all exceeded any expectation. It’s the kind of place that makes you fall in love with Bali and instantly feel at home. Everything is so beautifully designed and so clean- I was able to fully relax and decompress for days. I kept extending my stay- I didn’t want to leave! The outdoor bathroom feels really luxe and private, and the pool was my favorite spot to unwind. Breakfast (for a small extra cost) was fresh (and homemade!), delicious, and made every morning feel special. The location is ideal- close to great restaurants and shops, but on a quiet street that feels peaceful and tucked away from the busy main roads. WiFi was strong, and communication with the hosts was quick, easy and super kind. They are my new Bali family now. I even got to borrow yoga equipment and practice with on the porch each morning and with one of the owners in their dedicated yoga area, which was such a gift. I honestly couldn’t recommend Villa Mooz more. I’ve already told my friends and family they have to stay here.

Felt like our own little sanctuary.

It’s beautifully decorated with a cozy atmosphere that truly captures the authentic Bali vibes. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet area yet still close to the heart of Canggu. Everything is kept spotlessly clean, and with only four bungalows, it feels very private and homey, almost like a little hidden sanctuary. The owner, Benoit, and his team are incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to help and make sure you have the best stay. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at ease and want to come back again.

Perfect Place with Perfect Staff

Perfect Villa style guesthouse in a quiet area of Canggu. The property is beautifully designed and I felt right at home from day 1. So much so that I extended to stay longer. Owner is a wonderful guy and very helpful. Cleaning staff also super nice. I cannot wait to come back again!

It was super quiet, beautiful, clean and very welcoming. The staff was very helpful- they can help you to rent a bike and there a few amazing places to eat very close to the property. Its also close to the main attractions with the motorbike. We highly recommend this beautiful getaway.

A gem!

I lived in Bali and know the area of Canggu quite well. Mooz is of extraordinary quality and an absolute gem. The French owners made an estetic little place with only 4 bungalows which are decorated so nice. The pictures tell it all! There is a huge communal kitchen to make your own food and 2 nice lounge couches to chill and watch the garden. What is super nice too, is the quietness, which is rare in Bali. No barking dogs, no noisy neighbours and still very central. 10min motorbike ride to the beach. Highly, highly recommended!

A wonderful place with an amazing host and kind staff.

My stay at the Guesthouse Mooz was phenomenal. The place is beautiful, quiet in the middle of busy Canggu, and offers plenty of privacy while offering a common area where you can meet other friendly guests. Most importantly, Benoit & his wife (owners), Ketut and Natalie (staff) were fantastic, kind, and always super helpful. I highly, highly recommend this place.

Incredibly peaceful and surprising

Location was difficult to find at first as I did not know what the entrance looked like. But once found getting around canggu and heading to other parts of Bali were easy

Feels like home - just needs better wifi

Very homely feel as their are not many guests. A lot of privacy and a huge common area and kitchen. Would definitely stay here long term if it had larger beds and better wifi.

Wifi is very patchy and telkomesel phone signal wouldn’t work in our room. The bed is small and the mosquito net had some gecko poo on it. The street leading to it one way has a broken path so cars cannot enter from one side.

A very lovely accomodation, far from the noise of the traffic jam. A safe and comfy spot, very clean and tidy. Both Benoit and Ketut were very friendly and helpful on giving us advices and help. We had a fantastic time at Villa Mooz, highly recommended.

Divine Oasis

I feel incredibly grateful to have landed in Bali and to have this be my first stay. What a beautiful, divine little oasis on the edge of busy Canggu. It was incredibly serene, and Ana and Benoit were wonderful caring souls, who provided lots of information for me. You can really feel how much thought, love and care has been put into all of the details here. Can't recommend it enough. 🩷🙏🏾🪷

The staff was absolutely adorable. The rooms are spacious and comfy and the bathrooms amazing. The whole place is so peaceful I ended up staying in almost all the time, enjoying the pool and the beautiful garden. I loved having a common kitchen to use.

Very friendly staff and owners who are willing to help you at with any questions you have. Accomodation is very clean, lovely & peacefull, especially for the busy area of Canggu. That said… you have to drive a scooter or Grab or Gojek to get around to the centre of Canggu and the beaches as they are not on walking distance. But is definitely worth it if you want quietness. A home away from home.

Staying at Villa Mooz feels like you're visiting friends!

It was the perfect location for me as I was in the area training at a gym for just over a week. It was ideal because you get your own little 'hut' with an outdoor shower and have access to shared facilities like the pool and kitchen. Because there are only 4 little huts, neither of the shared facilities were ever busy. Unfortunately I got Bali belly in the middle of my stay. I let Ben know just in case I needed a doctor. He came and visited me soon after I messaged just to check up on me and even offered to have food made for me! That was the best thing about the stay - the above and beyond hospitality. I felt like I was visiting friends and was very well taken care of.

A super small thing but would have been great to have 2 sets of towels. Being Bali, towels never fully dried so it would have been great to be able to switch up between a couple.

Beautiful homestay in busy canguu

Benoit and then home he’s built in Bali is so heartfelt and lovely. it’s a beautiful oasis in crazy canguu. it is a beautiful homestay - dont expect 24x7 staff and hotel facilities but it is definitely super cozy - comfortable and very well maintained. And as a result of this feels like your own private home. Not a single bug/mosquito in our room in spite of so much greenery outside. As a designer I was so happy to see it’s very tastefully done and has tonnes of local character - the tiles are handmade, the bathroom is semi outdoor and gorgeous. The porch is my favourite spot. Please catch the early morning light there. Thanks Benoit for a great stay!

amazing experience

Really special quite place to stay in canggu. If you wanna find some rest and peace for yourself this is absolutely the place. Facilities were amazing and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The host (Benoit) is amazing. Really helpful and kind man who even helped me 2 weeks after I left the guesthouse with my scooter. Amazing person! (Also can’t even describe how sweet the cleaning ladies were!)

Beautiful, quiet place which I thought no longer existed so close to Canggu.

Guesthouse Mooz is so beautiful and well maintained. The biggest thing I loved about the place was how quiet it was, even though it's pretty close to central Canggu, it felt like I was in the middle of the rice fields. The place was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. There's zero negatives to mention. Would highly recommend staying here. I'm definitely going to stay again.

Peaceful place

The place is super well located, very peaceful and away from busy canggu! As there are only 4 rooms, it really feels private! The pool is big and the vegetation is mind-blowing!

Located besides the main road of canggu, meaning you have to go through the jam to go anywhere! The glassware in the cupboards smelled funky and should be washed more regularly!

Benoit is great person. Facilities are great as location. The bathroom is just outstanding with a great feeling. Definately book it. I regret not spending more time there. Having a swim there at night was awesome. Good a/c and laundry service just in the corner. Great price quality relation
