The staff are really friendly and cannot do enough to help you. The villa is spacious, the setting is beautiful, with the pool and beach right there, and you feel safe there.
The villas could do with some TLC - they need brightening up with a lick of paint and things like taps and showers are loose or rusty. There were lots of things missing or wrong when we arrived - hand towels, mosquito nets, WiFi didn’t work, telephone not working - but as soon as we asked for things, the staff immediately brought them and sorted it. My daughter fell and hurt herself in the night and there was no first aider or ice pack on site, despite it being Kenyan law. The staff were very apologetic and tried their best to help her though. Main issue is the harassment the second you step off the site - either onto the beach or the street outside - the sellers can make you feel very overwhelmed and pressured.
