Wow! Just wow! If you are ever planning a trip to kanatal... just book the Hermitage. The property is amazing and everything you would want in an offbeat location. We had booked somewhere else and that place was bad to another level. We were in a messy situation with a toddler but Hermitage was kind enough to accept our last minute booking and answer our call at 6 in the morning. Forever thankful to the lady I spoke to. We booked the forest facing rooms and the calmness you will experience their is on another level. And the owner will give you major rishi kapoor vibes. Always smiling guy with a hot tea in his hand! Thank you for making our first trip to kanatal fab! Also guys the food is amazing! Missed tandoori snacks that's all!

Staff were courteous and smiling all the time. Located right on the main highway so its good for people who dislike driving/walking up steep slopes.
There were no good views of the landscape from the property, atleast from my suite. Suite seemed overpriced. But room rate is subjective so thats only my view.
