Happiness Full Hanok Guesthouse

The location of this place is great. It is really close to a some of the key attractions like palace but the real treat for me was how close this was from the Daehak-ro which is called the Broadway of South Korea! The place is full of good food, amazing public transport connection and a lot of theatre and art option to explore from. The owners are friendly and helpful. They both speak enough English to help you with suggestions. The place is close from the public transport but still on a quiet road.

I honestly did not have a problem with it as I was expecting a proper Hanok experience but be mindful the bedding is on the floor and it is not everyone's cup of tea. I was expecting it so it did not lower my experience.

It was a traditional house, very minimalist

Great stay at Hanok Happiness Full. It’s a beautiful traditional house but still very comfortable and clean. The host is incredibly helpful and the location is perfect for exploring. It’s much more of a unique, personal experience than staying in a big hotel. Highly recommend for the hospitality alone, and the coffee is excellent too.

Keep in mind that this is exactly what it claims to be: a genuine guest house where you’re staying in someone’s home. It’s charming and authentic, so don't go in expecting five-star hotel amenities or total anonymity. If you're okay with a more personal, 'lived-in' feel rather than a corporate resort, you'll love it here

Located on the edge of the hanok village with all the sights an easy walk from the guesthouse Owner was v friendly and helpful - but limited English spoken Good value for money if you just want somewhere to sleep for a night

Shower over the sink and no curtain so the whole bathroom was soaked after use I realise this is probably my mistake but the traditional mattress on the floor for sleeping was very very uncomfortable and the mattress was not as thick as I expected (I was expecting a futon style mattress) I wasn't hoping for luxury but even so this was a hard night's sleep....we left a night early to get back to a 'proper' bed
