La Madegra Seasuite

La Madegra Seasuite has a certain charm about it. The rooms are bright and cheery with rooms having a view of the water directly across the street. In addition there is a welcoming place to sit outside in front of the building with tables and benches, and waiters who will take your order of beverages and pastries. La Madegra is walking distance from the train station, but it seems as if you're at a beach resort because of the water across the street. We had seven family members traveling together, and we all enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to walk to shops and restaurants and to historic sites in Salerno.

I can't think of anything we didn't like.

I could get an espresso and croissant right out front of the lobby door. There are grocery stores and fruit stands and a laundry right nearby..

I really can’t say anything negative about the property. The property is on a very busy street, but I was not bothered by the noise in my room..

We stayed a couple of nights here and it is perfectly positioned between the train station and the ferry terminal. A very easy walk to both. We were able to check in early which was great. You go to the coffee shop downstairs to get your key and we had a lady show us to our room. We had an issue with the bathroom being a bit unclean and mentioned it the next morning and it was taken care of straight away without any problems. The breakfast is coffee made to order, juice and a pastry, down in the coffee shop in the morning and whilst small is very good. They have a restaurant and the food there is also very good. You can sit outside and watch the world pass by at ease. I would recommend to friends.

This is not important or an issue but the outside of the windows were dirty and spoiled the part view of the sea.

Comfy bed but disastrous stay with poor service and flooding bathroom

Poor customer service of staff that appeared to be cafe staff but looking after the hotel check in too. We had early checkout and breakfast included but no real solution to our circumstances. Bathroom floor flooded and was super damp and unclean with excessive mould. Room very dated and accessed thru a work site. Would recommend staying here
