I had a wonderful stay at Base Camp Tasmania. The hospitality from the owners was amazing, and they even shared great local tips for the Willow Court Asylum tour. The property is surrounded by beautiful wildlife seeing all the animals in the yard, including a cheeky wombat trying to walk right into the house, was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for a true, peaceful Tasmanian getaway!

Camping on my own in winter, Steve made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Lots of great tips on where to go, what to see. Beautiful view and sounds of birds in the morning. Amazing having indoor facilities included with camping, a hot shower makes all the difference! Am already planning another stay!

It's a beautiful place, owner Alana was very helpful, facilities were good. Lots of wildlife around which the kids enjoyed
Wish we knew what the roads were like before we booked. We were in an RV (motorhome) and the the roads in and out were very scary! Also felt it was overpriced for an unpowered site.
