Superb location near a local fruit market, restaurants, and several excursion agencies. All the staff genuinely care about your stay and your needs. A special mention goes to the hardworking and kind Shameem, who made our time in Thoddoo an unforgettable experience. They always tried to accommodate our requests, and when we had a small issue with the air conditioner, Shameem fixed it in no time.
Adam, the owner, was also incredibly helpful, he arranged all our transportation to and from the airport, including the speedboat transfers, which made our arrival and departure completely stress‑free. As this is a local island rather than a resort, you can expect some parts of the process to feel a bit informal, but everything worked smoothly for us. We found the Maldivians to be warm, welcoming, and always happy to assist
We opted for the half‑board option, and the food exceeded our expectations with authentic local cuisine full of flavour: fish, rice, chicken, tuna steak, fruit, etc. Breakfast always offered a good variety: eggs, mas huni, roshi, toast, coffee, tea, and milk.
We were lucky to have a second‑floor room with partial views of the island. The room was comfortable, with a balcony, a well‑sized bathroom, air conditioning, and enough furniture for our belongings and clothes. For the kids, the room included a modern TV where you can stream your own Netflix or Disney+ subscription.
We understand that a local family‑run business may have certain limitations, but one area that could be improved is the towel‑change service. Towels could be replaced more frequently, especially since beach towels often get dirty from sand and sea water.

Каждый день убирались, клали воду. По приезду в порт Тодду нас встретил хозяин или администратор, отвезли в отель, получилось все очень организовано
Сразу скажу, что искушенным туристам в отеле делать нечего. Еда сытная без особых изысков, но благодаря трезразовому питанию мы дней 5 даже в магазин не заходили не говоря уже о кафе и ресторанах, соответсвенно сэкономили прилично на деньгах. Завтрак шведский стол (национальный завтрак. Лепешка с кокосом и тунцом, тосты, оладушки, фрукты). Обед порционный, зачастую рис с тунцом, либо креветки, либо курочка. Ужин шведский стол, также зачастую тунец только на гриле, макароны, рис, салат, фрукты. Мы не пожалели что поселились в этом гостевом доме так как в такой высокий сезон за такие деньги ожидать чего-то большего было бы напрасно. Наши ожидания совпали с картинкой, но были туристы, которые за 3 копейки хотели резорт Египта, но получили совершенно другой уровень обслуживания. Наше мнение, что все гостевые дома +/- кормят одним и тем тем же, сервис отличается от того к которому мы привыкли в России или Египта с Турцией, но это скорее национальная особенность. Заискивать и прислуживать во всем, кормить до упора с претензией на мишлен - это наверно больше про резорты курорты, а не про локальные острова. Для нас было главным пляж и океан, здесь все было 100 из 10, поэтому кто за чем едет как говорится ))))

La posizione è eccellente, molto comoda per raggiungere entrambe le spiagge e visitare l'isola
Camera per 4 persone. niente di che, senza comodini e armadi per mettere le cose. Il bagno odora di cemento bagnato perché le pareti sono intonacate e l’acqua nel lavandino non scendeva bene. Gli asciugamani sono stati cambiati solo una volta e le lenzuola mai. Abbiamo fatto la pensione completa ma il cibo era poco e ripetitivo, non c'era praticamente scelta e possibilità di chiedere in più rispetto a quello servito o terminato nel buffet perché veniva risposto che non ne avevano più.
