My stay at Palmwag Guesthouse in Tzaneen was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed and made to feel completely at home. The guesthouse itself is absolutely beautiful — impeccably maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by a truly relaxing atmosphere that reflects both comfort and elegance.
What made the experience even more memorable was Ken. He is genuinely a remarkable person — kind, professional, attentive, and incredibly hospitable. His dedication to ensuring every guest feels valued and comfortable is evident in every detail. It is rare to encounter someone with such warmth, integrity, and passion for hospitality.
Palmwag Guesthouse offers the perfect balance of tranquility, cleanliness, and outstanding service. The rooms are spacious and tastefully prepared, and the overall environment creates a sense of calm and luxury that is difficult to forget.

Henk and his wife was the greatest hosts for my son that stayed over, he can not talk enough of their friendliness and hospitality they gave him. He usually do not socialize much when he travel but he totally enjoyed the time spend with Henk and kie and said next time he have to be in the area I better book him in at Palmwag Tzaneen his new home away from home! Thank you very much for making him feel so welcome!

The hotel gives you good value for money, and the bed was quite good.
All in all nothing wrong with the location, and the staff was quite friendly and accommodating.
During load shedding the WiFi would still work, but no lights at all.
What I did not like was: I could hear every word from the neighbouring room,
at 6:30 in the morning, the gardener started the weed wacker in front of my window, and there was no hat water for the shower
