Le Colombier Saint-Véran

Super ligging. Hoogwaardige kwaliteit (inrichting). Heerlijk zwembad.

Het laatste stukje weg er naar toe is ‘uitdagend’.

We spent an idyllic week soaking up the sunshine at Le Colombier. The road up the mountain to Saint Veran is a little hair raising the first time you experience it ! We were met by the friendly owner who showed us around the property, and although the owners live on site ( their home is just below the rental cottage on the mountain) the garden and pool area around the gite is totally private and not overlooked. The owner cleaned the pool every morning before we were up, and was very discreet. The cottage had everything that we needed, and was a wonderful haven to return to after a day’s sightseeing. The pool area is just fabulous, and the views from the terrace are spectacular. One cannot help but relax in this terrific environment, the surrounding area is so beautiful.

Nothing, wonderful place to stay

What an amazing place! This was our favourite stay in the whole of France. Apart from the fantastic location, with views out from high above the gorge of the Dourbie, in a remote medieval village, the house itself was a work of art and of engineering. With beautiful detail in every aspect, we kept marvelling at how this house was modernised. Comfortable, warm and stylish. A pool with loungers both in sunny and shady positions. Bath robes provided… a perfect place to stay!

How could you find anything to dislike here!
