Quadruple room in countryside

Really feels like a countryside stay, with nice views on a hill. Attentive staff and accommodating at breakfast.

Lovely place up on the mountain, very peaceful. Cooler temperatures which we were very happy about. Horseriding for the kids was great. Good breakfast, restaurant was very nice and excellent food.

The road from Lugano was scary, really narrow, steep and curvy, from other directions it was better.

The drive up in the mountains is awesome, nice size room. Excellent breakfast, overall location, price. Liked that the hotel is teamed up with the horse back riding. Friendly staff. If you are down to earth people , like to focus on important things in life it is a place for you. If you are a fancy dancy princess like person, than go find your $3000.00 / night hotel.

Everything is beautiful, the place is very wonderful, the room is comfortable , everyone works with love, we were treated with appreciation and respect, we are happy with our stay here, this will be our first choice at future.

Nice place to visit the Como and Lugano lakes. Quiet and spacious surroundings (though its 900m altitude requires a daily up & down trip). Friendly and helpful personnel (and daily basic cleaning).

Dark (few windows) with a mix of different styles. It could use some renovation here and there. Breakfast was not a buffet; some variation would help (as we stayed there for a week). You can dine as well, but it was a bit overpriced to our opinion. Something outside (like a small playgarden) to entertain the kids would be nice as well.

Very bad ecperience

The nature

Unfriendly n rude male waiter. At dinner, even he saw my mom wink for take order, he not come and took very long time to come for take an order. We ordered wine and the bootle and glas was very dirty. In the wine was something, it seems its washing-up liquid what swimming in the wine. When we got the meal from the woman waitress (she was friendly), we told that and like a miracle the waiter could be fast and asked whats wrong. Of course he had excuses which not could be true. However he asked if we want new one but we want not more coz feeled disgusted and so denied. The meal was good. When my mom called the waiter coz she thought he was finish with taking the order from the next table, he shout in an unfriendly n rude way that he has finish here and then come to us. But he take a long time to come. At first, he didnt say it in a normal way, he really said it in a rude way in front of other guest. My mom was really shying. How disrespectful you can be to an elder woman at age over 60. And second, when we finished the meal, he didnt asked if we want anything else. But to other tables he asked friendly. Btw he didnt come and gone away...waiting a while until he send the female waitress. He knows that he not get a tip coz he was so rude. At least, the room floor was dirty, there were not clean up, lot of hair n dust on the floor. The bed n toilet was clean up. The towel smells awful from the softener. The room smells not good, the window wasnt open, so it smells awful and was very warm. The way to this hotel is not decribed well and not easy to find. Im very often in italy, also at weekend. But its the first time in my life that i give not a tip. We didnt take breakfast there n drove away. Never ever come here again n stay a single night. At least i want to say the waitress n a other male personal (maybe the cook)was nice. Only the one male waiter was rude n unfriendly.
