Leśny Dworek

Leśny Dworek is an old but charming property surrounded by lots of greenery and woodland. The area itself is beautiful and peaceful, although unfortunately we did not have much time to enjoy the surroundings as this was an overnight stop during our road trip. Our room was spacious and there is private parking, which was a big plus when travelling by car. We had seen information that parking might cost an additional 9 PLN, but we were not charged for it. Breakfast was good and simple, with freshly prepared scrambled eggs, sausages and other options. We had informed the property in advance that one of us does not eat meat, and they kindly prepared some fresh fruit for her, which was a nice touch.

The main downside was the noise. The building is old and the floors creak quite a lot, so we could clearly hear guests walking in the room above us from around 7 a.m. Our room was also on the ground floor close to the breakfast area, so we could hear activity there and the radio in the morning. We had originally booked breakfast for 9 a.m., but after being woken up much earlier than planned, we decided to have it earlier. For an overnight stop on a long road trip, getting a good night's sleep is important, so this was the biggest disappointment for us. Our arrival also felt a little unusual. A staff member met us by the outside gate and appeared to be the last employee leaving for the day, or perhaps she had been waiting for us. Afterwards there seemed to be no staff on site, while the main outside door remained unlocked. Nothing happened, but the situation did not give us the greatest sense of security.

We love to surroundigs - after driving the busy via Baltica so very peaceful! We like the room and love the atmosphere. Breakfast is really wonderful. Its also wonderfull that the place has a nice small restaurant

You can feel the place is loved and the staff is friendly. The dogs were welcome and the breakfast was really good. The house is quite old and charming

Everything was great for me

Food in the restaurant ok, but nothing special, prices regular. We ordered starter and main dish and received all in once, so had to eat starter instead of dessert. Breakfast is normal, enough, waitress asked if we want sausages, but hasnt brought them.

Rooms doesn’t have ventilation, windows doesn’t have mosquito nets, so either you sleep in the room with closed windows and no air or you open windows and have full room of mosquitoes and barking neighbor dog. Shower cabin in the bathroom is extremely small, you can’t bend or turn, very uncomfortable.
