The apartment is located in central opatija, so you have access to restaurants, shopping services, and historical sites, very nice swimming areas the waters are calm and the public swimming areas are good. The apartment: Equipped kitchen (stove and fridge and freezer cutlery and pots/pans), coffee machine, Turkish coffee pot and mocha pot and electrical kettle, dishwasher, and washing machine. Air condition and shutters on outside windows available. Nice sofa to lounge in the living/dinning area. Two TVs one in living room the other in bedroom. However, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, so you can smell the moisture. There is no drying rack for clothes if you plan to use the washing machine. Property caretaker/owner: Although the check-in was until midnight, we didn't know they were not available physically from 21.00. But we did get help from them so we appreciated their help even after working hours and we called two different contacts as one was the caretaker (not so good at english) and the other is management but both were extremely helpful so we appreciate your efforts 😊. Parking fee: It was written 15 euro per day, but we paid more than this - see explaination below.

Location on booking.com Apparently, they have more than one location and the one we received was apartment chiara and this location was so difficult to find as Google maps had 3 different locations available and it took us to a wrong location where we had to circle round for quite sometime - we ended up asking help from nearby hotel the receptionist helped us. We only received the different addresses on the day of check-in via WhatsApp - it is not OK to have one main address on booking.com if it's not the apartment we were renting for communication purposes it is best to add the addresses more clearly and maybe update the googlemap if possible 🙂. The Apartment Chiara is close to pizzeria maya if you get this apartment, and you can park (paid parking zone 0) along there. Overall, again, we appreciate the help of the caretaker even though she was at work when we were checking in late and management helping us - we received pictures and addresses and all the info needed it was more that googlemap is unclear which made it difficult for us with the information given as the wrong location given on googlemap the apartment has the exact same colour and windows as apartment chiara which made it all the more confusing. Parking fees from 21.08 to 23.08 d21.08 at time 22:43 - d22.08 at time 11:43 =€12.00 d22.08 at time 11:35 - d22.08 at time 18:43 =€14.00 d22.08 at time 18:40 - d23.08 at time 09:43 =€16.00 Total = €42.00 at parking zone 0 The parking has nothing to do with the apartment it's more what extra fees you will be paying in the area of opatija. We don't know if there is free parking in the area. The bed is quite soft for our liking, but we were able to sleep.
