Exceptional
Everything was great, the owner is very friendly and kind, she was always ready to help and answer any kind of question. The view is breathtaking from the apartments. We liked that the garbage is collected selectively (in the apartments and in the whole city) because we care about the environment. Portoroz is a very clean city and Piran is beautiful with its old buildings and streets. You can walk or take the bus (goes in every 15 minutes - 1.5€/ticket)
The apartments are on a hill, so if you walk to the beach the way back is really tiring so I would not recommend it to elderly people. You can go by car, it is more convenient, but you have to pay for parking everywhere. It is not about the apartments but the beach: all along the city we only could find beaches where everything is made of concrete and you can go to the water on stairs. We went to Piran where there's a more natural beach.
