Guesthouse Tolc

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The owner was lovely and our room was more charming than we expected from the pictures. One small note: if you have a room under the roof, the bathroom is really only convenient for shorter people 😊. I would only recommend staying here when their restaurant is open. There is another restaurant within walking distance, but it looked rather rustic. Tolc has a great kitchen – lovely food and a very friendly waiter who really knows his wines. When the weather allows, you can eat outside on the terrace, although unfortunately the high fence blocks the beautiful views. The breakfast buffet was the best of our entire trip, with a great variety and excellent quality. A lot of care clearly goes into everything here. You really feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, yet Ljubljana Airport is only about an hour's drive away.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh, and a great way to start the day. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming. He was always happy to help and gave us great recommendations about what to visit and explore in the area. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Really nice establishment situated in a small village with views of Slovenian countryside. Very nice owner/chef giving sightseeing advice and creating 5 star meals. Maître d’ had good wine knowledge and was very friendly as well.

Lovely spacious apartments with great views across the valley. Lovely to hear the birds singing in the woods. Hosts were fantastically helpful.
