I’ve had to travel quite a bit, but it was my first time in Portugal, so I had no expectations. This accommodation, however, made the whole experience even better. There really isn’t anything I didn’t like. Everything was perfect, and my wife, our 2-year-old daughter, and I had a fantastic time. The house was old and authentic, but everything was up to date, and the whole place was incredibly charming. It was also spotless—you couldn’t find a speck of dirt if you tried. To me, that is the highest form of respect for your guests. The room was beautiful and fit perfectly with the charming little-town experience, and the view was 10/10. Altino was an amazing host. He answered all our questions with great kindness, was extremely friendly, and you could see his dedication to making every guest feel welcome. We had our daughter with us, which I had forgotten to mention when booking, but instead of making it an issue, Altino happily welcomed her and even upgraded us to a bigger room. The pool area is amazing and very private, surrounded by a beautiful garden that makes you feel like you have your own private villa. The breakfast was prepared with a lot of love by Altino himself, and you could tell. Everything was freshly made as you came down the stairs. The village was also beautiful, full of flowers and charming houses. For photography lovers, bring your camera because there are so many beautiful corners to discover. I looked at many properties before booking and chose this one because I liked it the most. Having stayed there, I honestly wouldn’t trade it for any other property. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I really hope I get the chance to return and spend a few more days there, both to see Altino again and enjoy the village. I would 100% recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again. Until next time!
