The host of the apartment was wonderful to deal with. Responsive, friendly and offered lovely recommendations. Some of the authentic historic decor and furniture was beautiful.
The apartment was not quite what was expected. Expecting a historic apartment it was a bit more dated than expected. Although the main bedroom's ensuite bathroom has been renovated, the second bathroom could do with some updating. Towels and bedding also require updating, as well as more comfortable seating. It felt like most of the furniture was there to suit the 'old world' feel of the apartment, but not to actually provide comfort to current occupants. The electricity also kept tripping if you ran the air-conditioning and a hairdryer.
