Apartment Folic Sutomore

Great location! Sutomore Beach is just a 10-minute walk away, with several corner shops, a mini market, and a few restaurants nearby. Tabija Fortress and the Red Cliffs are also within easy reach. Haj Nehaj Fortress is around a 20-minute walk away, followed by a beautiful hiking trail that is well worth exploring. Other highlights include the Church of Saint Paraskeva of Trnovo (15-minute walk), the wild beach at Gulf Štrbina (30-minute walk), and the beautiful hike to Hrvatsko Staro selo Miljevci. The latter is well worth exploring, but be prepared to encounter goats and cows along the hiking trails! The bus stop and train station are just 5–7 minutes away on foot, making it easy to explore other cities. Bar is only 30 minutes by bus, Budva around 45 minutes, and Podgorica Airport 45–50 minutes by car. The mountain views from the kitchen window and balcony are beautiful, and the host family, including his parents, were amazing and very welcoming. A lovely bonus was seeing lots of wild turtles roaming freely around the garden! Overall, a wonderful place to relax, enjoy nature, and explore Montenegro!

The kitchen could be better equipped, with sharper knives, larger pans, and cleaner plates, pots, and cups. Unfortunately, some items seemed to have only been lightly rinsed rather than properly washed after previous guests. The Wi-Fi was also unreliable and kept disconnecting, so I had to use my phone’s hotspot while working.

Super nice and polite host, always asking for our needs. Good position of the apartment, near the sea, the markets and whatever anyone could need. Strategic town because you can rent a car and visit other towns with 1 or 2 hours distance from Sutomore. But mostly you can spend time at the sea, buying souvenirs and having nice dishes.

I didn't have the chance to visit Herceg novi and Perast which I planned to, because I hadn't enough time to go by car or to decide which cruise to take. I would strongly suggest to leave some brochures in the apartment to make visitors less confused on what to see.
