B&B Batarà - "La Terrazza del Centro"

A very cute B&B in a very charming neighbourhood. It is super close to lots of restaurants and bars. The room was lovely, well-stocked and clean, and had a terrace with an amazing view of the city and the Valley of the Temples - it even came with binoculars to get a closer look! The breakfast is tasty and on a rooftop terrace, which is a great way to start the day :)

There is no elevator, so be prepared for a long walk up the stairs if your room is at the top. It can also be a bit hard to find parking.

Accessibility note: The hotel may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. It is located on a hill and on the fourth floor of a building with very high ceilings, so reaching it can be physically demanding, especially when carrying heavy luggage. I would recommend it mainly to guests who are comfortable with the climb and travelling light. After an accident, I had limited mobility for a few years, and during that time I would not have been able to stay here. Thankfully, I have since recovered, but that experience has made me much more aware of accessibility needs. I hope this information helps other guests choose the accommodation that is right for them.

Very nice, friendly owner/staff, who made tasty breakfast. Location is one of the best, right in the center, just a few steps then you can access the whole street with bars and restaurants. No need to talk about the panoramic view of the whole city and to the Valley of Temples. They even prepared you a goggle to check on the monuments from afar.

The facility is a bit old, but what else you ask for from an old quarter and with this good price.

I appreciated the price, the breakfast included and the working air conditioning.

Finding parking upon arrival was difficult - we abandoned that and went straight to the Valley of the Temples but we were tired and hot as a result. Walking up the 5 flights of stairs to access the room was an unwelcome surprise. The room accommodations seemed tired and worn. All aspects of the breakfast were disappointing - plastic-wrapped slices of American cheese, deli ham, bad coffee, pastries that didn’t seem fresh. The staff at breakfast weren’t very friendly.
