Fabulous villa, especially the pool. Beautiful quiet area. You need a car if staying here, but it’s worth it. Sergio was very helpful.

Tolles Anwesen mit privatem Pool und sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge im südlichen Salento (Mietwagen unbedingt erforderlich); Specchia ist eine nette kleine Stadt und das Zentrum von der Unterkunft aus fussläufig sehr gut erreichbar; Sergio ist sehr um seine Gäste bemüht (als die Klimaanlage in einem Zimmer kaputt ging, wurde sie bereits am nächsten Tag ersetzt); vor Ort leben auch Katzen und Schildkröten, was unseren Kids sehr gefallen hat

ein kleiner Supermarkt in kurzer walking distance wäre noch fein gewesen, ansonsten alles perfekt

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Vento Solare in Specchia. From the moment we arrived, our host Sergio made us feel welcome. He met us personally, gave a clear explanation of how everything worked in the villa, and remained helpful throughout our stay without ever intruding on our privacy. One evening, he even helped us order pizza, which we really appreciated. The villa itself is fantastic - incredibly spacious, clean, and well maintained. It easily accommodated our family of six, and we’re confident it could sleep up to eight people comfortably. Each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom complete with showers and bidets, which made the stay even more convenient. The pool area was a highlight, especially for the kids. It had everything we needed, including a private bathroom, a warm outdoor shower, and plenty of space to relax. If you come across any mentions of cats in other reviews, don’t worry. They keep to themselves, stay away from the main area, and the property is extremely clean with no signs of droppings or smells. The location is another strong point. It’s very close to Specchia town, where you can hear the peaceful sound of church bells and enjoy access to charming cafés and local shops. The surrounding area is calm and scenic, perfect for a relaxing stay. The nearest restaurant is an easy 8-minute walk, and the closest LIDL supermarket is about a 10-minute drive. Overall, we highly recommend Villa Vento Solare. It’s a spacious, comfortable home base for anyone looking to explore Puglia while enjoying peace, privacy, and all the comforts of home. We truly fell in love with the area.

Very friendly and helpful host and owner. Very calm just outside Specchia, but only few minutes walk into the city center. Both Adriatic and Ionia Sea see easy to reach by car in approx. 30 min. Private parking inside the area. Nice pool with sufficient furniture. Only four rooms so not overcrowded. Good local breakfast and coffee.
