Villa Xemxija

Very easy to communicate with our host Josef who met us at the property. The beautiful photos online are a true current reflection of this property. Everything is spotless. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable. The pay as you go air conditioning was vital for us UK visitors and was quiet and worked quickly. The place has a relaxed friendly vibe. We often had the beautifully clean pool to ourselves although equally pleased to be joined by other guests for a chat. There were plenty of loungers and sun shades to use at all times. Our host was incredibly helpful with local tips for dining, swimming and day trips as well as being responsive to any other questions or needs. We spent many hours snorkelling and swimming and decided Xlendi is actually the best location for this with easy access to the sea from the rocky shore by ladders. We hired a boat from Xlendi Watersports in the bay which we can highly recommend. Beware the blue lagoon Comino is massively overcrowded so nip in for a look then head to one of the other quieter bays for a swim if you do go The restaurants in Xlendi we found were all good. Our favourite was Da Manuel with great service, great food and a stunning view. We are a family of 3 travelling with our 14 yr old daughter. We all had the absolute best holiday and would 100% recommend this property for a chilled friendly quality spot in a great location. Thank you Josef for making our precious holiday so memorable

Such a gorgeous stay, really well located in Xlendi with short walk to the bay and restaurants or the headlands for sunset views. The apartment and pool are very comfortable and really great value. Josef is a wonderful host and will help wherever he can if you need something.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Xemxija. The apt was spacious with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the pool and equipped with everything you need. The Villa was really clean and well-maintained, including the pool (which we loved!) but I think for us the thing that stood out the most was the owner Josef. From the moment we arrived he was so attentive and went above and beyond to make sure that we had everything we needed. Josef, along with his cutie little dog Skye, made our stay so much more enjoyable and the memories we made will stay with us forever. Thank you Josef and hopefully we will see you again sometime soon!

The place was great for a family vacation. The kids loved the pool. Everything was clean and in good working order. It's close to the beach and many good restaurants. Communicating with the host was easy, and he was very helpful. We had no trouble finding a parking spot right by the gate, throughout a two week stay.

Xlendi is in a steep valley, and carrying groceries up from the shops could have been hard, if we had been on foot. With a car, or using the local buses, it's not a problem. Next time, we'll get a two bedroom apartment, so the kids can sleep in beds, and have their own air conditioning unit. The pull-out sofa beds and the fan in the living room was good enough, so it's just an upgrade.
