Zeer aangenaam huis: groot, goede bedden en kussens, erg mooi zwembad en terras; zeer goede dorpsherberg vlakbij; mooie streek met voldoende activiteiten; Chania goed bereikbaar

redelijk veel muggen s'nachts (zorg voor toestelletjes); 1 enkele airco voor grote ruimte is krap; waterdruk in douche soms onvoldoende; ondanks dit wel een verdiende 10/10

Everything ,location,comfort, pool ,host .the villa is in a lovely quiet village with its own taverna (Greek night on Fridays )short car drive down to the local town of Georgioupoli with loads of taverns, shops and a beautiful beach.If you are into cycling ,perfect for quiet roads and lots of mountains to climb.

Villa Rouga offered a wonderful relaxing weekend to us and it is largely recommended for couples as well as families who look for calmness and privacy. The house combines the traditional view of Cretan villages with a modern luxury. The accommodation was sparkling clean and equipped as promised (fridge, dish washer etc.). The Villa is located in a quiet and peaceful environment, not far from other beautiful towns and beaches. Though, if you look for an opportunity to disconnect from your busy routine at work and life like us, you have anything you need inside the Villa. We luxuriated its garden and the magic sunset view at the private swimming pool area. Also, we really thank the host family for their warm welcoming; an amazing example of Greek hospitality!!! The owners were waiting for us with local treats such as their homemade distilled drink of Crete, raki, and a fresh vanilla cake flavoured with rose water (baked by Mrs Maria herself) which actually served as a delicious breakfast during our stay :) Very generous, indeed, the owners offered to us local gifts, including extra virgin olive oil produced with love from the family. All those made us to feel like home and to enjoy the authentic Cretan spirit. What I appreciated the most, is that the owners were very discreet but on the same time always available for us, providing useful guidance/information for our visit in the area. We really enjoyed our stay in Villa Rouga and we will repeat it for sure if we get the opportunity in the future!
