Poggio Alle Lame

The owner - Beatrice - is an absolute angel! By arriving we were greeted by water and wine before checking in. There are wineyards all around (as it is in the Chianti region), big citys like Florence jus 30 minutes away, Pisa or Siena Just an hour by car. Breakfast is big, international and italian - everything you need. If you book dinner for the evening (there need to be at least 10 people in total of all residing guests) you experience an absolute perfect selfmade 5-courses dinner. I will never forget those perfect flavours. 30€ p.P. . Enough big roofed parking slots. If you arrive by electric car there are enough slots for charging, 0,6 kWh. Open pool with fantastic view over cypress-lined roads, olive and wine hills. When there wasn't dinner one day Beatrice called around and booked us a table at a restaurant 5minutes away by car. An absolute powerhouse who will do everything to satisfy her guests wishes. We had a room/bungalow - enough space, furnished lovely, big shower, little personal terrace in front of each bungalow with chairs, table with parasol and 2 sunbeds I can only recommend it. If I ever come to Tuscany I would definitely stay here!

Great great place

We had a fantastic stay at Poggio Alle Lame. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by stunning Tuscan countryside, yet perfectly situated for exploring the region. The pool was amazing, with breathtaking views, and the whole property was quiet and relaxing. The owners and staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The breakfast was excellent, the room was spotless, and everything was well maintained throughout our stay. We also appreciated the covered parking area, which protects cars from the sun, and the availability of charging facilities for electric vehicles. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic Tuscan experience and would happily return in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Poggio Ala Lame. After several stressful weeks, we truly found peace and relaxation here. The food was excellent, and the view is simply awesome at any time of the day. One of our favorite experiences was the clear night sky—we could see so many more stars than we normally do at home in Germany. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made this a very special place, and we would gladly come back.
