Hôtel Les Rives D'Allier

Wir waren rundum begeistert von diesem Hotel ( bzgl. 2Sterne Standard ) Sehr freundliche Betreiberin die auch etwas Deutsch spricht. Alles picobello 👍.

Für ein 2 Sterne-Haus gibt es garnix zu nennen.

Un hôtel indépendant tenu avec passion et compétence. Cela est tellement rare. L’accueil de Bénédicte est exceptionnel.

Le clocher de l église a 7h 🤣mais au bout de 2 jours nous l avons plus entendu

The staff (owners) were very helpful and offered to collect and deliver us to/from the railway station in the next village. The breakfast was OK but not special and the village was interesting.

The bed was rather small (a double I suppose when we are used to a Queen) and, most importantly the room was not air conditioned. To be fair, the hotel is located on the heights of the Massif Central so I expect that the climate is temperate to cold most of the time. However we visited in the midst of a heatwave and found the room to be too warm during our stay. The hotel seems to specialise in accomodating the more adventeurous like bikes, cyclists, horse riders, etc. but it was OK for us.
