Patrizio the host was very helpful and friendly. We loved the views they are absolutely stunning and it is so peaceful.
It is quiet, peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of it all in Amalfi itself.
This is a reflection on us and in no way does it to refer to Patrizio or the place we stayed. For us the location was just a bit too isolated in terms of getting around. Yes there is a bus stop just outside the property but they are often crowded / times are totally off (due to the sheer volume of traffic on difficult roads so again no reflection on the buses) and some just don't even stop.

The view was great, but overall I didn’t feel comfortable here – the place didn’t give me a good vibe.
On Booking there aren’t enough details about this property, which I think is misleading.
For example, there is no dedicated parking for the apartment, you just have to rely on finding a spot on the street. There are also no clear instructions about where to throw away the garbage when you leave.
Another big issue: you cannot use the air conditioning, the washing machine, and the shower at the same time, otherwise the power goes out. This happened to us, and instead of being helpful, the owner seemed annoyed that we called him to fix it – as if I was supposed to know the electrical panels in his own house.
Also says there are “15 steps,” but in reality there are more – 15 are only inside the building where the apartment is located. The apartment itself had a lot of humidity, visible on the lower parts of the walls. The AC units clearly need maintenance, especially the one in the living room, which smelled of mold when turned on.
Although the apartment is dog-friendly, it wasn’t clear where pets were actually allowed outside, which made things confusing. The location itself is beautiful, but it’s not well maintained – lots of untrimmed grass and a general sense of neglect. To me, the place felt overrated. It has potential and could be lovely, but as it is now, we didn’t feel comfortable during our stay.
