The host was very accommodating to our needs and became like family to us. Both him and his family were so lovely and always made sure we were safe and had everything we needed. It is a beautiful place and had everything you would need for a lovely holiday in Ambalangoda :). The beach cabanna has the best sunset view, and an easy access directly into the beach.

Very good location of two houses right on the beach. Perfect for young undemanding people. Everything is good considering the local flavor. Beautiful deserted beach. The owners of the houses always want to help you.

After traveling around Sri Lanka this is our favorite place so far. We enjoyed this place being right on the beach so much that we came back for the last 10 days of our Sri Lankan stay.
The owner and his family are so kind and really like to help in anyway they can.

Beach is right there. You walk out the door for 50 feets. And bam! You're on the beach. Most of the times beach is deserted. It's like you're having your own private beach to yourself. But be careful when you swim there because the waves are bit rough there.
Owners are very friendly. They'll go any far to help you. If you ask they will provide you with the meals too. They even gave us hammock beds. There is a small kitchen. But you have to pay for the gas separately 500 rupees.
Ambalangoda town and the super markets are like 5 minutes of walk from the property. There are few food delivery options too.
Considering all these, It's so worth the money you pay for this.
There were lots of mosquitos. Always use the mosquito nets provided. Bathroom is really small but it's okay.
