La atención de Carlo y su mamá (Filomena) merecen un 10. Carlo se ofreció a buscarnos y llevarnos a la estación. Para desayunar dejan tanto galletas varias como mermeladas, leche y distintos jugos en la heladera. La zona es excelente!
El departamento es algo oscuro (lo sabíamos) pero creo que se podría mejorar bastante con mejores luces artificiales.
No hay pava eléctrica, y creo que eso sería un gran plus.
La ducha demoraba bastante en salir caliente y era algo inestable.

The location was excellent! Just a few hundred meters from the Duomo and the beach and 15 minutes walk to the port and the central station. Lively area with lots of restaurants. Carlo is very hospitable and speaks very good English. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. It has everything that you need for a short or longer stay.
The accommodation although it is clean is a bit oldish. The provision of hot water is not stable. The beds in the upper room are a bit short if your height is around 1.90m and also the wooden floor makes noise. The breakfast provided is more of - what I would call - a welcome basket.

Comfortable apartment. Great host, Carlo collected us from Salerno train station and retuned us to the train on our departure.
Nice old town area to walk around at night, restaurants.
Good to note this apartment is on the second storey with no lift. Carlo helped us with our luggage.
Good location for early morning ferries to the Amalfi coast.
Unfortunately there were very noisy neighbours until late into the night, every night - arguing and talking loudly, and motor bikes coming and going.
Then very early morning garbage and bottle collections.
All part and parcel of staying in the old town…
