I wouldn’t come back

The bed and pillows were nice and clean. The staff is friendly and try to do their best

The room itself was unpleasant and cold, the shower didn’t work for 2 days and the day that works the hot water would stop every 30 seconds. There was no reception place and I had to stand in the rain while they were checking my booking.

Sensational

Loved our entire stay - awesome friendly, helpful staff who went out of there way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Lovely villas - rooms are spotlessly clean, brand new bathrooms, very comfortable beds, AMAZING views from our villa! We sat there for hours drinking in the views over the mountains, over to the coast and Java mountains!!! Sensational!. Very peaceful. Great food. View lots of birds, butterflies, small possums, bats in the evening and amazing sunsets to the coast from the balcony. Walk down the hill to the waterfall circuit. 10 mins drive to the Lake Tamblingan rainforest circuit - highly recommend both!

"What kind of reservation do you have?" "Do you have breakfast included?" Yes, the staff asked these question from us. I wish the staff should know more who is the arriving guest and their reservation type, not the guest who explains these for the staff.

Mouldy mouldy mouldy

Friendly staff, nice view and you can walk by foot to waterfalls (but it’s about 600m in altitude downwards from hotel).

MOULDY!! Our bed and bed linen were wet and very mouldy. When we sat on the bed and stood up our clothes that touched the bed would be wet. When we commented on this they changed the sheets but the new sheets were wet too. We asked for new pillows and got even mouldier pillows. I think they gave us the best they had in the start which was in a horrendous state and smelt so bad of mould. The room itself was also mouldy and the shower didn’t work until 10am the next day. They also said that we were in the best room so we could not change room.. When there was nothing more to be done from the staffs point of view we tried to leave the hotel (8pm) but there were no taxi anywhere to be found, also Gojek/Grab don’t work there either. We were literally stranded up in the mountains until next morning. So we slept on the only non mouldy blanket with two medium mouldy towels as sheets with the door wide open to air out all the mould spores. To be fair, it is a very humid environment and the house gets covered in clouds so it is tuff to keep things dry, but this was crazy. Maybe a fan could help… We paid 270K for a night which might seem cheap but I wouldn’t sleep here even if someone paid me 20M. We have stayed in a lot of different hotels in Indonesia for a month now so we know they can be quite crapy but this was next level.

The location is amazing, near many rivers ! The staff was also helpful and allowed us to add a third bed in our bedroom

The door did not close - impossible to lock our room. The kitchen was not well equipped. The bathroom was very rudimentary and dirty (calcaire, slugs and other). Food was meh.

great place for 1-2 nights

this is a very interesting place, especially the view and the feeling of solitude are striking. the houses are located separately from each other, the road to them is up the stairs, but it is comfortable to go if you do it slowly. It was also a very good breakfast.

the cottages need some renovation, the front door wouldn't close without a key, the bathroom door wouldn't close at all, there was mold in the room, the kitchen was dirty, dust and dead insects. Internet worked but unstable. All this, in principle, is not important if you come for a couple of nights to admire the beauties, but it can be cold at night

Would come back every time

it was a stand alone so came with a lot of privacy. beautiful views that are unbeatable and the staff were the most amazing. Komang, Edy, Aris and Kadek. always greeted us with a smile. Brought us fruits and treated us like family. made sure we were well taken care of and 24/7 ready to make sure of our comfort during the stay. I extended another 10 days. we had yoga mats to do our stretches, meditation and workout at the front yard every morning. it was just an absolutely beautiful time here ❤️

the door to the toilet wouldn’t close properly but no issues really. and the big black spiders but Komang and Aris will come to your rescue.

The shower was terrible... couldnt find a balance between hot and cold...and very low down for a tall person. Path going down from the villas to the waterfalls was a little treacherous...

The rooms need a lot of work, like a lot. But honestly they would be fine if they were clean. Which sadly they were not. Also, the number of stairs on the property is something that should be shown more in the advertising as we had elder guests and the stairs were very difficult for them. Food was below average.

lovely staff. the chalets are on the hull which gives you a lovely view. the beds were comfortable

not worth the amount you pay for it. no ac/fan available. although most nights it’s n it that warm. cleanliness and hygiene needs to be seriously looked into. the bathrooms, room and balcony could be cleaned better. all tiled surfaces were a bit wet and gross. location is a bit away from the main attractions, but this is a personal preference

Disappointing

The View was lovely, the breakfast ok (only the pancakes were not nice) It was great that it got served to our rooms To the first waterfall it’s only 600m The driver that was there was nice, had reasonable prices and drove us till Lovina (There is no Grab there and nearly no Gondel)

It wasn’t really clean. For that price it could have been cleaner and the mosquito nets had a lot of holes in them.

Staff did not know we were arriving. Cold showers. Shower wets toilet. Isolated - limited food options. Hotel food very average (wife says bad). Staff do not clear away food, so dogs come around and break bottles (nice dogs though). Could not pay by card - ATM very far away. Car could not be organised, as promised. There was a better cottage lower down, but not suitable for family of 3.

- Free upgrade! - Beautiful and peaceful mountain view from the terrace - Dinner choice is surprisingly various when you think about how isolated this place is - Staff are very nice and kind - You can hike down to Munduk (red coral) waterfall and Golden valley waterfall! - Great value

The staff is really nice, Putra definitely does a great job, water is hot in the shower, bedding is comfy, the wifi often works, there is room outside, the view is great, a trail downhill straight to the waterfall, the garden is nice, parking is easy. If you do not intend to stay there between 9 and 6, give it a try. Or call to inquire about the works?

Construction works, new houses being built meters away, on the land of the hotel, killed this time the magic of that place where we used to go. The view is still here, but the peace and the sounds of nature are over all day long. Too bad! I hope it will not last too long.

Un séjour inoubliable dans un cadre exceptionnel, porté par la gentillesse du personnel et la beauté des lieux.

Une attention appréciable et une vue magnifique : La vue sur la vallée est absolument superbe, un vrai point fort de l’établissement. Le personnel est particulièrement attentionné : vos valises sont portées jusqu’à la porte de votre chambre, et le soir, quelqu’un vient vous accompagner avec une lampe pour vous aider à regagner votre villa en toute sécurité. Un service très apprécié.

Quelques points à prendre en compte avant de réserver : L’accès à la villa se fait par un très grand nombre de marches, à monter et à descendre. Cela peut s’avérer difficile, voire dangereux, surtout par temps de pluie ou pour les personnes ayant des difficultés à se déplacer. Comme souvent à Bali, il n’y a pas de prise électrique dans la salle de bain, et très peu dans la chambre. Un petit conseil : pensez à emporter une multiprise. Enfin, même si le Wi-Fi est bien présent, il ne fonctionnait pas du tout pendant notre séjour.

Bel endroit mais simple.

Les chambres sont spartiates mais la vue est formidable grâce a la petite terrasse . Pour le prix, je trouve cet établissement vraiment bien mais ne vous attendez pas à avoir quelque chose de sophistiqué. Il faut être en forme car il y a des dizaines de marches pour arriver à la chambre. L’emplacement est top car vous continuer à descendre des dizaines de marches puis un chemin un peu compliqué et vous arrivez aux fameuse cascades de Munduk. Je ne vous conseille pas de manger ds cet hôtel. Nous avons été très déçu. Nous avons manger au restaurant Made’swarûg un midi. On s’est régalé et nous avons demandé à être livrer le soir même. Ce fut un régal.

C est un peu loin de tout . Qd on arrive d’Ubud, c’est un peu un choc….
