Sincere Wilderness Home stay

- fantastic view from the balcony overlooking the city - best Sri Lankan food we had during our 1 month vacation! Home-cooked meals as if you celebrate Christmas at your grandma‘s: plenty of food and a great variety. Also breakfast was very nicely adapted to our European taste with Sri Lankan touch - Incredibly kind family who took us in as if we were part of them. They are very respectful & helpful. - they organised a Tuktuk driver from the train station in Nani oya for just 1500rupees Thank you for this amazing stay! We will be back for sure

It was an incredible experience to be their guests. The breakfast and dinner cooked by the family was the best we had in all of our time in Sri Lanka. The room is also great and has amazin views while only 10-15 mins walking to the city centre. We also had a guided trek through the mountains and plantations where we learned a lot. Could not recommend it enough :)

Best place ever.

We had a great time at this cute property. It felt like being in a pretty cottage back in the UK! We were there in June and it was quite cold in Nuwara Eliya, so be prepared with some warm layers to wear even indoors. Romeni was very kind and offered a hot water bottle to help keep me warm. The highlight was the food! The food was so delicious that we stayed in for dinner on both nights. We even asked if they could teach us how to cook some of the dishes and they very kindly did. We are very grateful for this because the food was truly outstanding… some of the best we’ve had in all of Sri Lanka. Thank you very much for your warm and attentive hospitality!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into the family by Romeni and her parents with big hugs on arrival. Communication with Romeni was excellent. This homestay is a little gem. The views are breathtaking. You can easily walk in to town but we chose to get a tuktuk back as we were tired after a long day. We had the best meal of our stay in the evening prepared by Romeni’s mother. What an experience. Romeni arranged a tuktuk for our early start to the train station and helped us change our plans as the train line has opened more since we booked our tickets. Comfy bed, spacious room, amazing view and the best hospitality! Thank you.
