Monterosso is the loveliest place I’ve ever been!

The steps are challenging if you are older. Despite finding g them challenging I loved staying there.

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay at Cinque Terre. Will definitely stay here again.

The host Grace was super nice. She communicated with us through WhatsApp how to get to the property and met us at the train station to show us the actual place. She gave a lot of thought what we needed during our stay… eg small bottles of water to take hiking, towels for the beach etc… She also checked up on us to make sure we are enjoying our stay. The property was very clean and the 2 separate living areas and bathroom was indeed a bonus.

The very steep stair case. But all the places in the old town are similar.

It was clean and bright and had a washing machine.

It is advertised as being beachfront which it is not. We also had to walk up 4 flights of stairs which is difficult with a walking stick.

We were 4 adults and we found Grace’s appartment perfect for comfort and size.The location was great, wonderful restaurants and enoteca at our door. Yet it was quiet and away from all the crowds in the old town.

Cute apartment in the centre of everything

Perfect location, great little apartment with convenient kitchen containing everything needed to make meals if wanted. We self catered for our breakfasts only. Mini Mart next door and loads of restaurants and bars right on the doorstep. Beach a one minute walk away. Handy to have a washing machine. Fantastic prompt communication from Grace before and during our stay via Whatsapp. It got chilly during our stay and needed the heating turned on, Grace was prompt with arranging a friend to come turn the radiators on for us which made the room much more comfortable. Thanks Grace for a wonderful few days

Pillows provided were either a bit flat or a bit high but that was just me, might suit others. Steep steps up a few levels to access the apartment which we didn't realise. Had to lock the door at night with the key from inside which was a little tricky to unlock if in a hurry so would have preferred an internal lock to use from inside at night. Shower small and not much room for larger people.

A fabulous apartment right in the centre of Monterosso old town. Easy to get to and surrounded by great restaurants. A perfect location for a 5 Terre hiking holiday. Grace met us on time and settled us in. She was at the end of the phone line if we needed anything.

A lovely spot in the heart of Cinque Terre

It was extremely easy, because the landlord, an energetic and super kind woman, was easy to reach out to and very helpful to meet us at the property upon our arrival.

The only point of attention were the stairs to reach our apartment, steep and inconvenient.

We absolutely loved it!

Grazia was an amazing host and provided everything we needed for our stay. Our towels and sheets were changed halfway through and she checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. Location was amazing with everything only a short walk away. We loved it and will be back.

Superb

This place made us feel like we were living the local life! It is walking distance to everything. It was nice to be met at checkin because it would have been a challenge finding the actual place. The apartment has everything that you need which made it nice for us to make our own breakfast each day.

Nice and warm stay for a family.

Overall decoration is so cute. Full of facilities i.e., kitchen equipments, laundry machine, powerful hair dryer and warm heaters. Also clean and quite. The host is also nice. There is a small convenient store nearby.

There is no elevator since it is in the old town. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and the stair is quite narrow. So better pack your stuffs in small luggage. The twin room is a little bit smaller than what i expected.

Great apartment, perfect old town location - lose to restaurants, shops and the beach.

Grace, was a fantastic host and communicated in advance, giving clear instructions on how to find the apartment. She met us at the agreed time and showed us around the apartment. The 2 bedroom apartment was exactly as shown on Booking.com and did not disappoint. The apartment was very well presented and clean. It was in a fantastic location, in the centre of the old town, near restaurants, a short walk from the station, surrounded by breath taking walks and the magnificent sea front. Monterosso la Mare and the other 4 villages in Cinque Terre are served by regular and cheap trains. We also travelled to Portofino easily from Monterosso by train. The apartment was great value for money too. The weather (October 16th-23rd - 24 degrees in the day 20 degrees at night) was perfect and it was not as busy as the summer season. At the end of our stay, Grace met us to collect the keys and to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was on the second floor, so carrying our suitcases up the stairs was quite hard, but it was well worth the effort. The apartment did not disappoint.

The location is absolutely perfect. Right in the center of the town. Grace our host went above and beyond to help us get to her apartment. Apartment is beautiful, so bright and clean. Only the stairs up to the apartment. Our luggage was heavy and we are not in our 20’s anymore 😂 But Grace carried our luggage right up those stairs for us!

Wonderful welcoming stay in Monterosso!

Grace met us at the front door with a very warm welcome and even helped us carry our luggage up the steap steps and told us everything we needed to know about the room. Fully stocked kitchen was a plus and appreciated, as well as the beach towels she provided. The washer was a huge bonus as well, along with laundry detergent, saved us! Having an extra room and bathroom was helpful as well, we each had our own bathroom. The apartment was also close to everything in old Monterosso, and we felt like Italian locals staying here. Would stay again on our next visit. Grace was very responsive to any WhatsApp messages and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The automatic lights turning off in the hallway when going up or down the 3 flights of stairs, but got used to it in no time. Also, could hear neighbors quite easily, during the day, but nice and quiet at night.

Everything was great! Grace is a lovely host, she expected us with the keys and some bottles of water, which was very welcome after the trip there. Also, the apartment is very cute, well located, right in the middle of the old town and there are some great restaurants around, as well as a grocery store. It has everything you need, dishes, pots, coffee makers (and coffee :) ).

Wasn’t clear that it wasn’t one full apartment - 2nd bedroom completely separate across a hallway. Really not suitable as doors have to be locked at night because of 3rd apartment between the two rooms belonging to another. Kitchen area not accessible without disturbing family in there.

L’appartamento Buranco è situato nel cuore di Monterosso, ma rimane silenzioso e confortevole durante la notte. Grazia, oltre ad essere una host molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha fatto trovato un ambiente molto accogliente e pulito, perfetto per ospitare una coppia con una bambina di quasi un anno.
