Perfect location and fantastic balcony. We didn’t have any privacy issues as the view from the living room could be shut with sunshades. Albeit the balcony is shared, you basically get half of it for yourself. The apartment is perfectly furnished and clean (*). The shower functions perfectly and has enough pressure. Totally recommended!

When we arrived, the apartment was fairly hot. We believe it was due to the apartment being completely shut after being prepared for our arrival. It would be best to keep the balcony doors open so that the apartment gets enough ventilation before the guests arrive. The only other issue we encountered was related to the bedsheets. We found a few hairs on them. It’s not a huge deal, we understand it’s a family run business, but I would recommend paying better attention to this kind of detail. We ended up undoing the bed and beating the sheets on the balcony. No other issues aside from this!

Very central, 5 min walk into old town, and about a 10 min walk to the beaches it’s still far enough that it’s quiet. The hosts were wonderful and stayed up later to check us in as our flight was delayed. We thought it was excellent value for money, but not sure how rates change in peak season. The accommodation has everything you need. Bedrooms are comfy, they provide a variety of pillows (which is great when each likes something different). Fans provided (no aircon unfortunately). Fully equipped kitchen. They provide some coffee pods (would be a cherry on top if they provide a small amount of milk or creamer). Shower was good. There is also a shared rooftop terrace but we didn’t use it as we were out and about all the time.

Like many old places, it is dated, but you can see they have invested in upgrading things (like the bathroom). My husband found the bed too hard (I didn’t). Steep steps (one flight) to the accommodation. No issue for us as we’re mobile, but something to consider for those who are not mobile.

It’s not great in winter. It gets quite cold and there’s only a heater in one bedroom. The beds are not very comfortable either, and there’s some dangerous looking wiring in one of the showers
