We had a lovely family break

Problems with transport. We did not hire a car. - difficulty organising transfer connections to and from airport. - poor communication between campsite staff and local taxis and transfer companies. - no baby seats provided in taxis or shuttle bus. - no booster seats initially in campsite shuttle bus but eventually located. Taxi fares to Pisa airport cost average €180 each way.

Superb

Good location, nice mobilehomes (OG version), pool area, clean and cozy camping site and close to what we wanted to see in the area. Nice restaurant and accommodating staff.

The very limited wifi offering - did not reach the mobilehomes, and was also poor in the reception area.

pretty good with more highlights than lowlights

nice luxe camping with good facilities, nice environment, and well-organized great attention to trash recycling a good restaurant across the street easy to keep children entertained great gelato next to the swimming pool

quite hard to sleep with the noisy wind and marmot screaming, even one night with someone's snore from another tent ants in the kitchen, hard to keep them away. there is also sign of mouse shower gets cold after a while

lovely views and the location was awesome!

Too close to the other "Salveggia" tents no steps to descend to tent VVVV slippery The pool was lovely but why on earth would one pay to sit on the pool chairs??? It should have been INC for the SV1/2/3 tents! And we had mice! yup heard them in the night and they ate right through the cereal packet!

Different, Fun, Great views and location!

Pools, although a little on the chilly side. Tent was comfy and good size.

the wicker mats in the tent kept giving us splinters. Not being able to have our car nearer by, when you have children this would have been much appreciated. The fact that you couldn’t benefit from the views/sunset at night time. You should build a bar where the new sun lounge area instead of having loungers. This would probably prove far more profitable! 😉 I think if you stay for 1 week that a change of bedding should be provided free of charge. Maybe not towels but bed sheets at least. The amount of dust became very annoying after 5 days, so i wouldn’t book for a week again, if booking the same accommodation.

Shuttle 2 ways to Pistoia was the same price as 1 way. You could not pay with card in the market. A lot of ants in the nido. Swimcap in the swimming pool. Tourist information..

Nice, relaxed camping site on a mountain top

Nice camping site placed on a mountain - away from the big cities. We stayed in the mobile home with garden - three small children and two grown-ups. Nice pool area and a relaxed atmosphere. Great view of valley and mountains from the pool area. Didn't feel crowded (in the beginning of July).

Note before going that it is uphill to the site and downhill away from it - in other words: It is situated on a mountain. In the afternoon and evening it became very windy and almost cold due to the wind. Also be aware that you have (or we had at least) to pay 100 euro in cash at arrival. And the mini market on the camp site only takes cash. The restaurant and bar take card, however. Nearest supermarket is in Lamperecchio which is approx. 15 min. by car downhill.

Geweldige plek met erg mooie zwembaden

De ligging en de privacy die we hadden. Ook de praktische indeling van het huis was erg goed.

Prima dagen gehad

Wij hadden een Country caravan met tuintje en eigen tent voor de puber. De buitenkeuken maakte het voor ons wel compleet. Waren 11 jaar geleden hier ook al eens geweest en nog steeds is het een mooi plek om te komen. Ruimtes in de caravan waren met schuifwanden af te sluiten en bedden lagen prima. Wij vonden de moestuin ook heel leuk, wel jammer dat er mensen zijn die het goed vinden dat hun kinderen daar moedwillig groente plukken en kapot maken.

Tegenvallen is misschien niet het juiste woord, maar de camping is aan de dure kant als het gaat om uit eten, broodjes, koffie etc. De bedden is het tentje waren minder comfortabel en overall is de camping voor ons te massaal geworden en mist het de italiaanse charme, maar dat is persoonlijk

Der Swimmingpool hatte einen sehr schönen Ausblick. Aufpassen - man braucht swimming Mützen im Pool , ansonsten darf man nicht ins Wasser ! 😉 Komfortable Liegestühle am Swimmingpool. Draußen rumlaufenden Eidechsen. WC, Dusche, Küche - super komfortable und praktisch im Zelt! Das Zelt war sehr geräumig. Das Campingplatz war 1 Std entfernt von Pisa und Florenz, man kann also auch was anders sehen, als Camping Platz.

Der Wind, es gab windige Nächte - könnte deswegen nicht so gut schlafen, weil das Zelt sehr gewackelt hat

Mooi uitzicht, maar eerder een camping voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen.

Het uitzicht bovenop de berg was prachtig en steden als Firenze, Vinci, Empoli en Pistoia lagen minder dan een half uurtje rijden van de camping.

De camping was waarschijnlijk een prima plek voor mensen met jonge kinderen, maar voor ons gezin met twee tienerkinderen was het niet echt wat we zochten. Zwembad sloot al om 19u, restaurant om 22u. Tot 22u bleef de kindermuziek wel doorgaan, iedere dag dezelfde 10 liedjes, soms onderbroken voor een stoelendans. Kan leuk zijn voor de kleintjes, maar mocht wat ons betreft iets stiller. Het huisje was niet geïsoleerd, waardoor we alle bewegingen van de buren (vanaf 7u 's morgens al op) konden volgen. Er was geen wifi, enkel aan de receptie. Als je de camping binnen wou rijden, ging de bareel niet automatisch open, maar moest je steeds de berg op wandelen om aan iemand te vragen om die te openen. Het zwembad was ijskoud, dus daar hebben we niet echt veel in gezeten. Badmuts was verplicht en ondanks de hoge huurprijs moesten we ook nog bijbetalen voor een stoel en een parasol.

A parte il disagio dell'aria condizionata che non ha funzionato, tutto sommato bene.

Il camping è dotato di piscina anche se a numero chiuso. Anche per i campeggiatori diventa un disagio fare la fila la mattina presto nella speranza di trovare una postazione.

Non ha funzionato l'aria condizionata e questa mancanza di servizio ha penalizzato un po' il soggiorno . Mosconi che giravano per la casa mobile.

Dejligt ophold, smukt sted, dog ærgeligt at weekenderne bliver ødelagt af.

Dejlig pool område, finde hytter og god restaurante

I weeekenden blev der lukket op for at de lokale kunne komme ind til Poolen, der var så meget larm og vi kunne ikke få en sol seng eller få en lille plads på græsset, de lukker alt for mange ind. Vi kunne ikke rigtig gå i bad enten var der iskoldt eller skoldende varmt, svært når man har små børn

Fijne vakantie gehad, comfort is goed, maar er zijn wel wat puntjes waar aan gewerkt zou kunnen worden.

Schone caravan, goed ingericht. Mooi zwembad. Vriendelijk personeel. Mooi uitzicht. Eten en drinken in restaurant goed en betaalbaar.

Geen makkelijke stoelen voor buiten of kussens. Warm water onbetrouwbaar, kokend heet of ijskoud onder de douche, het was steeds een gok. Service is goed, ze komen meteen kijken, erg vriendelijk, maar helaas, geen oplossing. Winkel op camping is zeer beperkt en erg duur. Wil je meer brood en beleg ben je aangewezen op de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt 15 minuten rijden. Zwembad beperkt open, nu van 10-18 uur, vanaf 5 juli van 9-19 uur. Vraag me af waarom, er is geen toezicht, waarom al zo vroeg sluiten en niet pas rond 20 uur. De camping ligt erg afgelegen.En het is heerlijk om bij deze temperaturen een duik te nemen bij thuiskomst. Hoogte verschillen op de camping zelf. Bewegwijzering op camping niet aanwezig/niet leesbaar.
