Hotel National Park Sauraha- Homely Stay and Peaceful Location with Jungle Safari arrangements

I had a really nice stay here. The staff is super friendly and helpful with service and activities. Also the room was fabulous! Credits to the family!! I did the 3 day jungle walk and I especially want to thank my 2 guides -aka bodyguards- Shiba and Som. Through these guys I got to know about the culture and the wildlife. Thanks so much guys!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough. This is one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The bed was so comfortable. Every day and night, no matter the time of day, the view was stunning, you hear so many birds singing you to sleep and waking you up in the morning. The wildlife is incredible. Walking around, you will find many places to eat with local dishes that are incredible. All of the food here is cooked homemade to order, and the food here resembles my mother’s cooking so much. The people are very kind and the safari was unforgettable. If you are considering the safari excursion, personally I enjoyed the canoeing and jeep safari, but I did not feel much reward from the jungle walk. I lucky enough to see bears and tigers during my jungle walk, in my experience, the Jeep safari definitely offered more accessibility and comfort with close views of the animals in the jungle. We were able to see much more wildlife on the Jeep safari than the jungle walk. If you are keen on seeing bears and tigers and you are down for the adventure, then go for it!

I had the best time ever at Hotel National Park Suaraha. The hotel itself was nice, the rooms were clean and lovely, and the food was so comforting and delicious. You can tell how much they truly care about and love the animals and nature. The guides are passionate and very talented at what they do. Our guide on the jungle walk, Shiva, made sure we had plenty of rest in the extremely hot weather while also showing us the beautiful wild rhinos of Chitwan. On the jeep safari of the 20,000 lakes, our guide Madan was very nice and knowledgeable. Being at Hotel National Park Suaraha felt like having a second home in Nepal. The owner, Suraj, made sure we aleays had anything we needed. I would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to anyone!

I would give this stay more than ten stars if I could! Suraj welcomed us into his home with open arms and made our stay truly once in a lifetime. We had an exciting few days of exploring planned, including a sunset nature walk, a cultural show, a full-day jungle walk, and multiple jeep safaris. The guides they paired us with for these excursions were just as welcoming and made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and had an amazing time throughout our stay. A special thank you to Shiva, who was an incredible guide on our jungle walk, and Madan, who took us on a beautiful early morning jeep safari to Twenty Thousand Lake. If you're planning a trip to Chitwan, this is the place to stay!
