Super friendly owners and staff, gorgeous location surrounded by nature. The capuchin monkey display is a highlight!!! Pool area fantastic for chilling out, lovely breakfasts with lots of choice. Don't miss the chance to eat at Matapalo Supper Club, food is outstanding. We didnt have a car to stay here, the hotel we were going to in Uvita arranged onward taxi for us. Uber is here and looked like it was available but we didnt use it. Just walked to Supper Club. We were only here a short time, car needed if you want to do more sight seeing around the area, but we had stayed in Manuel Antonio before. Would stay here again without a shadow of doubt. Thanks so much to everyone.

This newly renovated B&B was a fantastic stay. Matapalo is a nice, off-the-beaten-path town with an amazing beach, and the B&B is just a couple minutes walk away. The room was spacious, modern, comfortable, and luxurious (for an average traveler). We really enjoyed our spacious balcony and the pool area. Having monkeys jumping around when we arrived was very fun! Breakfast was very good.
Nothing to dislike. It is necessary to drive almost everywhere except the beach, so that may be important to some travelers.

Everything.The slots and monkeys in the trees around the house,the breakfast,the sweet and helpful staff and the pool/garden.
It’s in a small town and the beach is just 2 min away and is wild and beautiful-with amazing sunsets.We walked many km up and down the beach at sunrise and sunset.
