Cascata do Varosa - Turismo Rural

La casa era muy acogedora, todo estaba muy limpio. Es ideal para desconectar del todo,

La carretera de acceso es pésima, toda de tierra y muy pequeña. La tele solo tiene 7 canales y no hay Internet

Stunning location - great for pets and children Peaceful and idyllic Plenty of parking in the shade This accommodation is 5 separate dwellings with shared outdoor facilities including an excellent swimming pool with fantastic views and plenty of sun bed and parasols; several BBQs and some children’s outdoor toys (although some of those were a bit tired) Good kitchen and bathroom Clean throughout Good aircon which you could leave on throughout the day Good WiFi You are also able to access the sister-site’s hotel facilities, which are also excellent and include more swimming pools and a restaurant. This is accessed via a 900m gravel track road which takes approximately 2 minutes to drive and might take 10-15 minutes walk as it is up-hill.

Make sure you read the message from the owners before approaching the property, as you need to check in at their sister site to collect the key - this will prevent you from having to drive along a questionable track. Hot water in the shower sometime runs out during periods where I expect a lot of people will be using them. Access to the property via driving is on a single track, which is steep at times. This is achievable in most vehicles, particularly due to the dry conditions of the region however nervous drivers may wish to be aware of this before booking. We completed these journeys in a 4x4 with no issues. The main bed was large, however it was not the most comfortable. This would not prevent me from returning.

Nossa chalé era na cascata porém perguntaram se queríamos ficar em um bangalô mas próximo da piscina, restaurante e spa. Nosso bangalô era bem equipado e confortável. Cozinha equipada e bem funcional.

Achamos abandonado e desprezado as redondezas das cabanas na cascata, o lugar é lindo, cachoeira perfeita porém infraestrutura aos redores deixou a desejar. (Não entramos nas cabanas) se tiverem mas cuidado, com certeza seria perfeito , pra opção de ficar no meio da natureza.

The location was perfect and the views were breathtaking.

We were expecting to be surrounded by nature, and that some of it could eventually get in. We surely were not expecting a mouse eating through our groceries, neither waiting a full morning for the issue to be fixed and guess what? It wasn't, we couldn't sleep that night has we were listen the mouse moving along. In the early morning we had to greet a specialised team while having our breakfast, we stayed for three nights and we lost 1,5 days with this situation. Additionally, 2 out of 3 nights we had no connection to the internet in a place where there is no cellphone coverage. After everything we asked at least to have a late check-out but the request was denied. All in all the place is nice but the management is terrible.
