SETA - Bombequiols

Wonderful sense of peacefulness in a fascinating and beautiful building set within stunning scenery. To find such an amazing swimming pool in such a seemingly remote location is really unusual. There is a very special "homely" feel to the place and Pablo was faultlessly kind and attentive and I felt it a real privilege to spend time with such an interesting man. It's hard to believe that such wild tranquility can be found just 40 minutes from Montpellier.

Tout est paradisiaque, jusqu'aux "nanous" qui viennent vous dire bonjour sur le parking -) Magnifique et très bien entretenu, j'attends les prochaines vacances pour y retourner !

D'habitude je marque "les voisins" mais là on n'entend rien.

We can highly recommend this hidden gem and loved our stay there from beginning to the end! It's an incredibly beautiful estate with centuries of history. The rooms are very well equipped, had very comfortable beds and there is so much attention to detail overall (maybe owing to the fact that the owners dealt with antique furniture, too). It's run by a very sweet family (very multi-lingual), who are very cultured and give great advice about the area! Situated at the southern edge of the Cévennes in the valley between Buèges and Hérault, there is everything you could wish for: beautiful nature for hikes, sleepy villages with castles and donkeys and a river nearby to go kayaking. The 25m outdoor pool is a bonus, it's big enough to swim laps - or enjoy the overwhelming peace and quiet of the place. (I realize this sounds like a paid advertisement, but the place is really that great).

Le lieu, la piscine et le charme du mas nous ont particulièrement plu. La gentillesse du propriétaire ne remplace pas malheureusement pas un manque de professionnalisme.

Le manque de professionnalisme (de formation au métier) du couple de propriétaires. Nous avons cherché partout dans le mas, quelqu’un pour le check-in, pour le petit déjeuner le jus d’orange, le beurre et les yaourts nous attendaient depuis le petit matin en plein soleil sur la table…le beurre était liquide…melon servi sans fourchette… nombreuses maladresse. Le propriétaire inexpérimenté s’excusait toujours, mais son épouse en revanche ne nous a jamais salué, ni adressé la parole. Sauvage ? Impolie ? Les 2 sans doute mais passe difficilement pour nous. Le hic c’est egalemebt le fait qu’il n’y ait pas de climatisation. En été il n’y a pas de courant d’air possible dans les chambres. Les nuits deviennent vite un enfer. Un seul petit ventilateur pour 2 lits, ça ne suffit pas.
