Mondjila Safari Camp

The pool was very nice and the view was wonderful - the dining area was also very pretty and nicely decorated. The lady who checked us in and took care of us at dinner was very sweet. The layout of the property is nice.

the property is very nice - had a nice vibe, but the rooms are so basic. If they added some more decor they could really elevate the place. Some art on the walls, a nice lamp, some homey touches. We did have a small fridge and a coffee station in the room which was nice. The food was also just OK - nothing special. We felt it was expensive for what you got - but I guess proximity to Etosha goes for a premium. They really are in a great spot with a very grand view - it would be nice if they would trim back some of the trees/bushes to open up the views a little (or a lot!) more.

The location was great as it was not too far to Etosha gate, the staff were friendly and the food was really good.

The shower situation was unacceptable, at the times you could get hot water it was merely a spray, have stayed in much more remote places that provide a decent shower.

The food was very good, especially dinner.

The 1 ply toilet paper, as well as the shower floor which was so dirty and slippery/slimy, the shower trap was blocked. I lost all interest to shower, justtried a cowboy splash. The shower is in a terrible state, very dirty. The bungalow is very cramped for space, you have to turn sideways to be able to enter the bathroom. The tap in the wash basin is half blocked with some kind of mineral in the water. I will not stay there again. The setting of the camp is nice, the food good, but the facility is not maintained properly.
