Excellent location for the Frombork Castle

I don't know if my review is really representative, as I was the only guest in the hotel and it was effectively shut down, apart from my room. The location is excellent, at the foot of the Frombork Castle complex. The hotel has a small private parking area. Breakfast in the morning was outstanding: a huge spread of cold and hot dishes on my table, so much that the lady had to take some away to bring new ones! This was genuinely impressive. I took pictures.

It's an older hotel that needs a good upgrade. My bathroom smelled of bad plumbing. The various fabrics in the room would benefit from a good wash. I had a bacony towards the castle, but the many insects in that area prevented me from enjoying it. Most restaurants and services around were closed; the whole area seemed dead outside of summer. Finally be aware that this region of Poland suffers from GPS jamming by Russia, and at random times (especially in the evening) your GPS location might jump abruptly and be dozens of kilometers away from your real location. This makes GPS-based navigation (Google Maps, etc) very unreliable. If you hear your navigation system tell you suddenly that it recalculated your route, stop the car and check whether the location that it's showing you matches your actual location. Be ready to navigate the old way if it doesn't, as it can last for hours.

Definitely the value was right. Service was great and location is superb.

Location is first class. Facility is a bit dark and old looking. This might be intentional given the close location to historical buildings surrounding it.

There was no elevator and we didn't know that our room was on the first floor. Friend is recovering from the broken leg and this has complicated our stay in the hotel.

Best option in Frombork....probably.

Nice BB type hotel at very heart of Frombork (the town itself is not anything bigger). Staff do not exhaust You with unnecessary attention - just give the keys, show the room (O, yes - there is a welcome drink "+star" for this!) and off You go! The brekfast was abundant! Very good food choice for such small B&B.

Our room missed the mirror - it looks, it was remowed recently. Probably back on wall by now. Welcome drink is only 20* liquer. 40* would earn higher mark :)

Bardzo fajnie położony obiekt z widokiem na wzgórze katedralne. Blisko port sklepy i miejsce do spacerowania. Komfortowe duże pokoje w pokojach czysto kawa herbata. Pyszne urozmaicone śniadania, bardzo miła obsługa i właścicielka ❤️ obiekt dostosowany do pobytu z małymi dziećmi. Z całego serca polecamy pobyt w obiekcie Pod wzgórzem ❤️. Na każdym kroku widać , że obsługa stara się jak najbardziej umilić pobyt , świeże kwiatki na stołach, klimatyczna muzyka ciepło od kominka coś pięknego ❤️.

Pyszne śniadaanie i uprzejmy personel.

Pyszne śniadanie, przestronne pokoje, miły i uprzejmy personel oraz lokalizacja w centrum Fromborka to największe atuty obiektu. Zatrzymaliśmy się na jedną noc, ale wydaje mi się że 2 dniowy pobyt miałby sens - wtedy oprócz obiektów z Kopernikiem, możnaby zwiedzić okolicę, która jest zupełnie inna od reszty Polski.
