Ramada Encore Istanbul Kartal

I liked the room and how big it was. The staff was super responsive to all of our questions. They were available 24/7. The location was great for my work conference. It was very easy to find parking, as I had rented a car. It was easy to get to other places in Istanbul from the location of the hotel. It was very clean as well. Breakfast was great and they had many options. The staff was super friendly.

I did not like that the AC system was central with other people. I know that I went in october during a storm and that heaters were the logical option, but I just wanted AC and cool air circulating in my room. It was difficult to have the staff understand this need. After talking to them, they did however give me the option to switch the AC to cold. It was not available from my control box in the room. This was annoying. Unfortunately, on the last night, the maid had cleaned the room and taken my room key, which meant that the room electricity reset, so the AC went back to heat. It was very physically frustrating that I had to open the window (the window was also not fully functional) and even the door, despite the storm happening outside only to get some air circulating in the room. That was my only issue with the hotel and my stay. Nex time, I'll just book a different room on a different floor where the AC is not central and just related to my room and not everyone else's.

The room is so clean, the staff is warmly welcoming, specially the head of staff at the breakfast, the breakfast was amazing, didn't expect such excellent breakfast, the facilities, the high speed internet, all in all, excellent experience.
